What I don't want: usually a boy in this situation is pretty docile, not just mild-mannered, but indecisive, meek, and has a somewhat "average" personality. This trend is the strongest in shounen harem (usually with a tsundere heroine) but I sometimes see it in shoujo, too.
What I do want: well, any other type of boy being bossed around by a girl. XD Loud and obnoxious like InuYasha (good example btw), or sweet smiling and manipulative like ... hmm I don't know an example, or maybe tsundere & arrogant.
I'm accepting recs in all genres, romance doesn't have to be the main plot of the story, it can be just a part of the whole adventure/mystery/whatever plot but those two characters must be the main characters.
Similar manga already read: InuYasha, Zero no Tsukaima, Her Majesty's Dog, Barajou no Kiss (well, sort of).

id say Nanaco Robin , i think it fits.. not really really bossy, but along those lines.

Id say full metal Panic, watched the anime season 1 and two, since its closer to the novel then then manga version.
strong and sexy female lead, one minded male lead, does things his way , not to talkative,and kinda out of it but in a serious way( just makes u want to laugh bcs he's so serious about everything)
it has quite some romance but its not the leading act, so it's just spicy enough 
also u can try Kimi wa pet, Protagonist can get bossy, but she is a sweatheart in reality. Also, it has an age gap...

Ranma 1/2 There's not many girls as bossy as Akane, and Ranma is definitely a non-meek boy... Well, half of the time anyways...
