i want a sports manga with sad drama parts.
i know there is a genre option here but not every fitting manga is picked there so i will it try here anyway.

the drama parts should acutally affect the reader and make him sympathize or care for the protagonist. for example the protagonist having his dreams shattered or something along these lines.
it could also just be a lost match which had backgrounds to why he had to win or should have won or etc,,,,

a long, completed read would be nice and also not tooooo dark all the time.
but also suggest ongoing mangas if they are good.

the drama point is really important to me so something like
Hajime no Ippo as far as ihave read
Baby Steps as far as i have read
Good Ending not really sports anyway
Open Sesame

dont fit. these are just some between many examples.

Cross Game kind of fittet though the art kinda killed the drama

Try Area no Kishi
Oretachi no Field - I'm not sure whether anyone scanlated this though..I read the release back in my home country. It's one of my favourite soccer manga <3
Whistle! - it's not really drama, but I feel strongly about the protagonist.

If you like manga with sports and drama, and add in some very good romance then Crimson Hero is for you because i throughly enjoyed it. The manga is still ongoing so you will anticipate more to come..
