So I want a manga, with a title, that (the title) make sense at the end of the manga. Let's say we have Naruto and the title makes sense at the beginning, because he is named naroto, that's why. But I want something that makes sense at the end.

I got 2 superb examples:
Arigatou - this was sweet
Honey and clover - ah, sweet too

and those (one could say)
grant my wish - but I think it wasn't at the end
Bokurano ??

thanks

Onani Master Kurosawa

The story seems a little... But read it, it is SO good.

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle

Granted "wings" are a bit of a theme throughout the manga, but the actual meaning isn't apparent until the very end.

What? That title makes sense right from the start...

Yeah, but it still makes sense from the start. It's like if you go see a movie called "Big Earthquake" and it's about a big earthquake. Then at the end, one of the characters says, "Wow, that was one big earthquake." Sure they've referenced the title but it's not like something like Honey and Clover where the title seems to have no relation to the subject matter at all. Onani Master Kurosawa clearly represents the subject matter of the manga. You can tell just from reading the summary, it's not really a groundbreaking revelation at the end.

Basically any symbolic title works for this on some level, as you can argue that the title's meaning cannot be properly discerned until the work is completed.

This works pretty well for pieces like Monster or The Hour of the Mice.

I can also think of a few, like Solanin where the title is only referenced about halfway through (though for that one you can also analyze the Japanese pronunciation, since that has an alternative meaning).

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

I agree that Onani master kurosawa has the meaning at the beginning, it is later only mentioned in full. I read it. From far away seems too related to the manga, I think. It was from the beginning from far away, they just made a novel with that name later. I read Solanin too, and have no idea what it means... I read Monster and vitamin too, and I think vitamin count somehow, but that was so long ago, that I forgot.

I will try the others. thanks smile

Not Simple - At first, you may think the title refers to the protagonist's relationship with his family, or his life in general. The end of the series provides an alternative meaning (and considerable depth) to the title.

semi-eternal happy end
phalene
Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero!
Elfen Lied (just the manga)
Hana to Akuma makes sense without the ending, but ending gives it deeper meaning

the flower with a short lifespan and the demon who lives very long

i hope we get a meaning for Bleach. The offical reasons are:
1. kubo like the title from the nrvana album
2. he convinced his editor by saying that the souls get "bleached" (purified) by the shinigami
