Here are our criteria: • Must be fully fluent in Japanese and English, with native or nearly native skill in both. • Must be available on Mondays. Raws generally arrive around 11am GMT. • Must be capable of producing a translated script within 24 hours, preferably less. • Must love the series. • Prior experience translating manga is a plus, but we are willing to train you if you have the skills. It goes without saying that you will be expected to be both accurate with your Japanese and natural with your English. Ideally you will not need much if any proofreading. If you are interested you should inform both Ichibukai and HontouRakuda, our head translator. HontouRakuda@gmail.com and ceramicsword@gmail.com If you apply, you will be first provided with our standard translation test. Once you have passed that, you will be able to do a trial run on the series for a week or two. If your performance meets our expectations, the spot is yours. We do have a backup plan in case no applicant meets these standards, but we would much prefer to find a recruit who does.
