Oh and besides poor writing, poor reception or poor sales, there are so many other reasons for an axing of a manga.
- company owes favour to someone who's much more famous or whose parents are renown mangaka/important people
- dispute between mangaka and editor or other staffs of company or there's some form of legal dispute. Or there's a complication with the contract 'cos some of the production team moved away or something.
- when the mangaka personally makes the decision to do so, just like what happened with
TAKASHIMA Kazusa after [a]Kayono[a/] got away with plagiarising her titles.
- mangaka is guilty of plagiarism
- mangaka got involved in an accident and couldn't draw anymore. I recall that's what happened to the author of
Alichino. She lost the ability to do a certain form of technique(unsure if she recovered from it).
