I can read it anywhere, what does it matter to other people if I read manga?

I really don't care who knows I read manga...except my mother. So, I read it openly at Subway, waiting around at school, on the bus, but not at home.

Unless it's an explicit yaoi then I don't care. Why should I be embarrassed.

I don't exactly buy manga... soooo... erm... Well, when I'm out with my laptop, I'd occasionally read manga online... in public... if that counts... but yeah... I don't read physical manga... that I hold in my hands... if that makes sense...

hmm.. It depends on what type of manga for me. X3 i mean.. Would you read ecchi manga outside? n//n.. maybe.. But for manga in general.. Sure why not.

But i can't seem to concentrate when reading in public cause of the noise. So I don't read outside.

Hmm, how do I explain...I don't read books in public at all. I just like reading normal books/manga at home, outside is way too hectic for me x____X.

Ah, but if I do ever decide to read a book in public, I wouldn't mind reading manga at all.

I don't understand the huge difference and obsession that comes between books and manga.
From my understanding books and manga are the exact same thing: a story.

Yes one has pictures and the other doesn't but that's absolutely the only difference and is no reason to discredit manga.

Obviously as you wouldn't read super slutty books and porn in public, you won't read hentai, ecchi, or smut in public. That's just common decency.

I have no problem reading manga, or anything else, in public (exceptions being anything with much nudity, but most of what I read is pretty "clean"). I also buy it in public, and check it out from the public library. laugh
