I for one think its a fantastic idea. We(groups) or at least me can somewhat gain an opportunity to ask leechers looking for our releases, feedback since M-U is THE place where leechers look to for release updates first. Groups should abuse this function to recruit, and Manick has graciously agreed to link projects to specific groups. That way I feel that groups can ask for help for specific projects under that series forums. Freaking cool function in my opinion waiting to be abused. Well I can think a ton of stuff to do.Hopefully other groups would consider this idea. Yeah they got their own sites, and their own forums. Can I say, the more advertisement for a group/project the merrier?

Do you mean forums for groups so they can do their work?
Or forums that you can discuss about certain groups?

Hmm... As long as group leaders, or other people from groups, can be in charge of their own group forums, I wouldnt mind.

how useful would it be? I mean...most groups has irc they can discus things on (i think atleast they have)...and ppl have their own forums..
but on the other hand it would be nice to have all forums in one place...

I think it would be useful to some groups but maybe not all groups would want to use it. The thing is i perfer forums to irc just because you can read past comments and don't have to actually discuss something with someone in real time. I worked for a group that used both and I always perfered the froum to irc.

this forum thing could lead into group bashing by people or other groups so i'm not sure it's actually a good idea.
i'm pretty sure it will be filled by lots of posts from people asking when next release and why u guys so slow. this kinda thing r really annoying actually.
and people could just leave bad comments and this could lead to flaming war by people that like them and that hate them. it always happens on anidb and other sites that show releases and have comments thing on it.
and yeah like sakura said not every group want to use it. some group just want to be secretive or some just don't like to talk.
so to be fair manick if this thing really going to be implemented i think it's better if u only open up a forum in the group page if the group really want it.

Hmm...Manick did say he'd give complete access over your group's forums so deleting flame comments/topics shouldn't be a problem. It's pretty awesome if the 10k + users can just click on a group's name, and look at their profile, one look and zoom into the group's forums all under one site. It's not like Manick has a link directing them to the group's original forums anyway. For me I've put in advertisements on our site, forums and channel. Another outlet for me works just fine. I don't mind people asking when the next release would be. I'll be only answering them once, and leechers/fans can just look it up. I'm all in for it. But then again... Even if groups are active in the forums it'd be pretty boring if no fans do talk in them lol. Too many titles... Most probably VJain will be busy cus that ass is doing Air Gear. One piece, Naruto, Bleach a given. Unless users subscribe to lesser known series it'd be pretty difficult to know if there were replies to other titles...
