Hello, i'm looking for a manga (or manwha or webcomic pretty much anything) with a hero who has either forgotten their past or hides it. If the hero has forgotten their past I would like them to have a special ability or they are a special person and are hunted because of it
Examples: 07-Ghost: Teito has the Eye of Michael and is Pandora's Box (his memories were locked away)
D.Gray-Man: Allen has a connection with the 14th through his adoptive father (doesn't remember anything from his childhood
Death Edge: Tamaki seems to have a connection with the angels (haven't really learned anything yet but it seems he doesn't remember his past??)
If the hero is hiding his past they should also have a special ability that they are chased for
Examples: Black Cat: Train (his shooting skills) and Chronos)
Dragon Eye: Issa (his fighting ability?) and the Draculs
Shounen Hakaryuudo: Ren (he's a fairy) and Ia
The hero can be a boy or a girl and please no smut, ecchi, yuri or yaoi (there can be a little light shounen-ai but not too much). I hope I wasn't too picky but please and thank you biggrin

Eat-man Bolt`s past is a true mystery...
Pumpkin Scissors Randel`s past also fits...
Witch Hunter Tasha just lets a small part of his past be known, also is really similar to D-Grayman in a lot of aspects...
God Eater - Kyuuseishu no Kikan I think it fits?

Let me think a little and I`ll tell you other titles later

I'm already reading Witch Hunter and God Eater and they are both what I am looking for so thanks biggrin So i'll try the others.
Also Sagaris i've been wanting to read Rurouni Kenshin for a while but I read the first chapter and didn't really like the art too much. Does the art get better or is the storyline so good that it doesn't matter lol.
Please keep coming up with more!!!

Flame of Recca? It's neither forgetting or mysterious though..just haven't known it for so long.
Pandora Hearts - it's the anti-hero, though
Ao no Exorcist
Kuroshitsuji
diece..?
Durarara!!
DN Angel
I can't seem to find ones which fit exactly with your description sad

I second Kuroshitsuji
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He finds his past to be humiliating and traumatic, thus hides it.

Kanata Kara

Deadman Wonderland - it's more like a past event than a past in general, but it's pretty mysterious.

If I remember right, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle has a lot of these types.

I've already read Kuroshitsuji and that is exactly what i'm looking for biggrin. Also i've read Ao No Exorcist, Pandora Hearts, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles, Deadman Wonderland and Diece and those are really good too! I've never read Flame of Recca so i'll try and read it. Thank you so much and if you think of anymore please post =].

Man, have I got the thing for you:
Ubel Blatt - awesome manga that talks about the past of Koizell. Special ability: the huge black sword that comes out of his back. Don't mind the ecchi in the beginning. It gets much better after the first volume.
Id - another awesome manga where Id hides his past, or more like feels like he shouldn't talk about it.
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle - might work out for you. It's a bit confusing, but both Syaoran and Fai have mysterious pasts. Syaoran forgot his past, and Fai wants to conceal his.
Mushishi? - Ginko has a very mysterious past. But the manga's not all about him and his past. It's more of a walk through life with supernatural elements.
Vampire Juujikai - one of the BEST manga ever in my opinion. Strauss has an incredibly mysterious past, and everyone's out to get him. Thing is, he's the strongest vampire out there. You HAVE to try this one.

Seconding Ubel Blatt and Vampire Juujikai. Also: Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan, the main character's past is mysterious, though we learn about it bit by bit, and the main conflict/secret is also tied to it. Meteor Methuselah also.

Trinity Blood - immortal vampire protagonist, past unknown (for a long time at least)
Dogs: Bullets & Carnage - general things about the protagonists' pasts are known, but it's the details lacking that are important; the main protagonist is also semi-immortal
Sengoku Youko - protagonist's past is revealed eventually though...
Magi - protagonist doesn't know his own past, I love how this is a play of One Thousand and One Nights, you just have to give it some time to flesh the story out. This is a fairly light-hearted story though (at first)
