Last week, I was visiting my friends, They offered me Omelet and because I was so hungry, I ate it all. I just knew later that he mixed Magic Mushroom in it, and then the effect began. I started to feel weird, my visual sense and auditory sense felt different, and I laugh at everything my friends said or I saw. It happened for around 5 hours. Honestly I felt weird but happy. I did feel curious whether it was drugs or poison. They told me that it wasn't drugs and it's safe, since it was not listed as drugs. and after that, we have that Mushroom again once in 2 days for the next week.

But yeah I feel it's not right, and told my classmate bout it, she said that I have to avoid them and what shocking me is even though Magic Mushroom isnt listed as Drugs, it's being considered as Drugs and something like that must have adverse effects that might be bad like other Drugs, and it has the same effect as Marijuana / Cannabis.

Now i'm starting to afraid but I cant tell or ask anyone around me (╥﹏╥)
so, please anyone knows whether it has a Bad effect or not?

They must've been relatively weak then, considering what I've heard from users are full hallucination accounts, not just feeling happy or giggling.

Anyway, there should be no major ill effects, as far as i know there have only been reports of flashbacks happening (much like with acid users). Shrooms are actually considered the safest recreational drug, but they are still a drug.

First, it was very wrong of your friends to do it secretly. Then, too much of that "listed" crap. "Listed" doesn't have anything to do with "safe for your health". You should change your view on safeness of a drug. Especially psychedelic drug. There is this thing as the bad trip. As far as I know this is the only danger. You can read about planning a trip on some shrooms dedicated site, this one for example.

As mentioned above, psilocybin are a drug. It's structurally similar to serotonin and likely activates the 5-HT2 receptors in the central nervous system. They don't appear to act on dopamine and are not considered to cause dependence however tolerance does develop quickly with regular use.

It's not the same pharmacology as cannabinoids.

Most common side effects are nausea, weakness, and abnormal sensations. Some people experience more severe reactions such as renal failure, seizures, and cardiopulmonary arrest but it is questionable if these are a result of the hallucinogen or other xenobiotics they may have consumed. In short, there are some adverse side effects as there is with any other drug.

I just got a confirmation from National Narcotics Board of my country that even it has only weak effect of Drugs than Major Drugs, it's listed as Drug in my country, so the use of Magic Mushroom is illegal...
It's not well-known here so not much people know that it's listed as Drug along side with Marijuana/Cannabis.
I guess I have to purify my body and mind soon =_____=
at least as what I read, it doesnt have Addicting Effect [Thanks God.. (˘ʃƪ˘) ]
and Thanks for trying to help biggrin

Yeah, I'm mad at them now, and try to avoid them, they were never really my friends from the start.
anyway, your link is very helpful!
contain information that i'm looking for, thanks! biggrin
the adverse side effect is might get you loss of reality, may be experienced and severe anxiety, and paranoia can occur.
even though are not so 'heavy' as LSD, may bring psychological problems to the surface and create a psychological damage due to 'Bad Trip Experience'.
Guess I have to stop use it right now...

The point is if you do it, do it with a careful and sane approach.

Most of the adverse side-effects described are occur during the period of intoxication. The adverse effect afterwards are usually limited to relapses of hallucinations, which are brief. However, continued use prolongs these episodes of 'flashbacks' of your experience.

Frankly, you shouldn't be worried at all. Unless you have a history of serious medical illnesses. Best way to find out? Don't ask people from the internet or other boards. Ask your doctor. He or she will tell you 'you're an idiot,' but he or she will give you a straight answer about the ramifications of your actions. They are smarter than you or me. Well, most of them anyway. =P

I am not a licensed medical doctor, so don't listen to me.
