I would just like to say that, yes this was a good manhwa, but the thing is, it was plagiarized. Many large titles that you see were taken and put into this manhwa. I have read that it may end because of the plagiarism. If you don't believe me, then see my review on Witch Hunter, I said more about this manhwa in it. And another thing, I thought this was good, till I found out that it was plagiarized, the respect I had for this manhwa dropped drastically. So that was my answer to your question of why this manhwa is not an anime, and the summary for that reason is that the manhwa may end as it is. How could they make an anime out of a failing manhwa?

I have read somewhere before, and another site also has said that because of the plagiarism, and the angry fans of those mangas and movies, the manhwa may get cancelled. I can not recall the sites, I am deeply sorry and wish you believe me about that. I have tried to find them, so don't ask me to. Now by plagiarized, do you not understand that? The author for Witch Hunter took the art and story of other famous works. I have said this already in my review for Witch Hunter, the author took art from Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist. People are going to notice similarities. Like how the panels are EXACTLY alike in FMA, when Ed's arm stopped working while fighting Envy in lab 5, and Tasha's arm stopped working also after using the Desert Eagle while fighting Varete. Just look at the site that I provided in my review, giorno. It showed what was plagiarized excellently.

And just in case you didn't know for some reason, I will give a definition (if you didn't know what plagiarized meant, sorry if I offended you by doing this)

plagiarizedpast participle, past tense of pla·gia·rize (Verb)
Verb:
Take (the work or an idea of someone else) and pass it off as one's own.
Copy from (someone) in such a way.

This was the Google definition. Word for word, and unchanged.

This guy above me must be retarded. I mean just because there are some slight similarities doesn't mean the whole thing is plagiarized, hell people take influences from different works all the time. Yes i did look over your so called review and the links in it and to tell you the truth I feel that I wasted 10 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

Anyway an anime would be good but I would rather some new chapters

As for what seems to be "copied" seems to be very generic poses and settings. You can find those poses in half of any manga. And ya got to remember that most manga artist will use reference books made for mangakas for backgrounds and such so there will be a lot of look-alikes in manga.

So maybe there is some copyright issues here, but I need more proof then some clunky photos of generic scenes slopped together.

------------
And to stay kinda on-topic. Korea has been branching out in animation in the last couple years. A series won't happen at this stage but they have had more animated movies coming. Sooo, maybe.

Errr i thought the same till i found a pretty interesting link from onemanga site embarrassed he really is using a chunk of panel look alike pictures from several big names and its quite the same looking with different characters and even backrounds are kinda taken. Thats way to much and way to similar to quite alot of works to be called a coincidence embarrassed and come on even star wars/lotr is there embarrassed u dont touch star wars, period!

2 posts above me, thats most definitely not just similar and a look alike, some outfits, houses, backgrounds are way to close to the original to be called that, when u copy several roads, trees and houses for backgrounds from another resource then its definitely intentional, being influenced is a different thing, having same element isnt plagiarizing but this kinda is

http://forum.onemanga.com/showthread.php?t=91178

I have now learned how to make a good manga, have a plot in mind take some scenes here and there, backgrounds and just make a story that can fit it all!

My humble view on things:

Plagiarism might be the wrong word here. Are you referring to a lack of originality? If you are, I can understand. Those poses and such are generic. However, the only plagiarism I can recall in manga was actually tracing another mangaka's work into the manga. As stated earlier, mangaka do use other volumes and such for reference. That is fine as widely done.

On the original topic, Witch Hunter just seems not popular enough. If the information is right, Kill Time Communication publishes this, too. KTC is Japanese.

Hmm when you say that i kinda have to agree, plagiarism is kinda not the right word atleast not like that comic (forgot the name) and Bleach now thats plagiarizing bigrazz , but hes most definitely just taking scenes and backgrounds which is kind of a bummer and feels like little to no work has been done there, poses might be alright since some just look cooler than others ^_^ but straight background taking is just being lazy, on the side note im quite sleepy and am not really thinking alot when writing this so no trollin on me please if u disagree o_O and off i got to get my beauty sleep and straight thinking.

Wow, it's true. Haha. There's TOO MANY similarities for it to be an accident. That's... that's terrible. There was no mistake - this whole series is a giant rip off. I was going to buy the manga volumes (they've been licensed by Seven Seas) but I won't give my money to such a person. roll eyes

How dumb. This could have been a great mawha (?) if it had just been original.

Well, I'll be damned. Some of it is incidental but... holy crap.

Some of the examples show entire pages with similar scenes organized in a similar or identical structure. In compositional works like Manga and Manhwa, that's a serious issue. Not to mention, some of them are virtual copies, like those shown in the Star Wars and LotR comparisons.
