There are so many beautiful flowers and so many types that I don't know, so it is difficult to make a definitive statement. I love lilies, as I see many others here do, the tiger and the madonna lilies, in particular- though I prefer the orange lily for its meaning of hate and rivalry, more pink than orange despite its name though.
For exotic plants, the devil hand tree, the caleana major and the impatiens bequartii are extraordinary to behold- I have only seen pictures but I would love to see the actual flowers as well as many other such plants.
Another one I like a lot, like the creator of the thread, is the daffodil, if only because I see it more often. I live right beside a public park that has a large section that is covered in daffodils in the early spring and they always brighten my day when I pass them. Another one I see often when I go to visit my family during the summers is the milk thistle that has a marvellous purple colour, not to mention that I am always tempted to touch the flower because of the soft stamen it has on top. Also, lavender, not only does it look pretty but has a nice smell.

Wolfsbane.

I lol'd.

My favorite flower are those little tiny ones that grow in bunches on roadsides/in sidewalk cracks in older towns. You can find them at the store as well, I believe, I have no idea what they're called, but they smell nice and look pretty.

You can, I just thought it was funny. bigrazz I don't normally associate Wolfsbane with something I would fine in a "Favorite type of flower" thread. XD

Well....let's see, I like camellias, hortensia (hydrangeas), and this Vietnamese flower that's called the Hoa Ưu Đàm, Hoa meaning flower, and Ưu Đàm being the name of the flower. It goes by many names, and I like it because I'm named after it, as well as the fact that it was supposedly a flower connected to Buddhist myths and Siddartha (Buddha before he became enlightened), and it's a flower that's supposedly rare and doesn't bloom until so many years...I forget -_-

Yep, I'm Buddhist. laugh
