I just suddenly got in the mood for manga that will make you cry at the end. Like if one of the main character knows he or she is going to die. Or if the two are going to get torn apart no matter what they do. If possible I want seinen but any other genre is cool too. Thanks in advance

Hotel and Present by Boichi make me cry in the end. They are one shots.

Edit: my bad, Hotel is not romance, but it's still good.
Love Letter
Do you mind yaoi? if not, 1999 Shanghai maybe fits.
Flowers of Evil --> it has incest

Elfen Lied Without a doubt is the best tragic love story out there wink Also in an anime, but as always, the manga blows it away. It's a must read!!! eek

Try Shisei (Yokobaba Ryo), and Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan.

Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen this is shounen though
Flowers of Evil
Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari and all that's related to that
Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu this is probably the most suitable for you
Elfen Lied
Nageku Shinigami
Koizora
Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan

Hope this helps...

Forgot to mention - Hoshi no Koe. I didn't like the manga much (prefer anime adaptation) but the story is amazing.

Romeo x Juliet - I recommend the anime more though.

A Night of a Thousand Dreams - filled with tragic romances, I cried nearly every chapter.

Half & Half

No one mentioned Vampire Juujikai ?

Both Hoshi no Koe and Byousoku 5 Centimeter are movies by the same director, so watch them instead.

Chrono Crusade is one of the few mangas that made me cry for the reasons you said.

I also agree that Ayashi no Ceres is one that would certainly fit the bill.

I would also suggest Basara. It is pretty graphic, especially for a romance, but it has more than its share of tear inducing moments.

The Music of Marie is a very mature, somewhat tragic seinen romance. I definitely cried at parts of it and highly recommend it for many reasons.
