The first one: About 2 girls with magic powers. They might have been related, although IDK. They meet two guys and one of them's dad is like, the archirival thing. The guy saves them in the end from his own father... The class has a play at one point in the story. the rope suspending the main character girl snaps or something, and then the guy uses his magic to make her float.

The second one: The second manga is something about a digital world of sorts. So there's this curly haired girl who is "chosen" by a scientist to protect and save this world from dooooom. There's this really cute + girl's-face-sized robot as the messenger. His name may have been digit. The important deal is, the girl turns out not to be the chosen one in the end. It turns out to actually be her friend, who has long hair xD All the magic people people listen to her friend more than they listen to her, but the friend succumbs to the evil-crime-doer's hold. However, after the girl has "the talk" with her friend, the friend-turned-sinner turns nice again xD The end~~

Also: In the second one, there's someone named "Anti".

So you know by now I'm bad at explaining stories =.=
Man, I read both of those stories about 6 years ago at the Oregon public library >.>
I was... 7 back then... so pardon me for having bad memory xD

First one, possible Miracle Girls by Akimoto Nami? There are definitely two girls and "miracles", although it's been such a very long time ago that I don't remember much about it anymore.

Second, definitely Mink by Tachikawa Megumi.

Haha. I think the first one's correct; I'm not 100% sure, yet, but the art is the type I was expecting [strange eyes that reminds me of marmalade boy]

The second one, on the other hand, I'm probably sure is wrong. I remember nothing about a pop star idol thing... But I'll try it xD

Thanks~

Oh, you're right. I only read about half of the description that you put up, heh. That part definitely sounds exactly like Mink, but not so much the rest. I used to go to the library often a long time, when I still didn't have any sort of money, and I often requested for more manga purchases because the selection back then wasn't so big. Miracle Girls and Mink were definitely some of the earlier titles they stocked. :-)
