I love talking about my dreams dude! Yours are pretty interesting too, like Alice in Wonderland meets... Puff the Magic Dragon lol

Your dreams sound like a writer's...well, dream dream. Eerie, strange excerpts from what seem like someone's life. Perfect for inspiring a story.

This thread has really taken off smile

Has anyone here ever tried to interpret their dream?

Zombie apocalypse. that's not the weird part.at the end, me and some survivors were gonna flee the country on a plane, and once we reached the airport, i had to confront my zombified mom in a shonen-like fight. cue awesome music, broken concrete walls at my expense, lots of earth shattering blows, inhuman jumping and running skills, and the fireball that finished it all off.

i had a dream once that last what seemed to be a few weeks(in the dream which was only me sleeping like 10 hours) where i met a really pretty girl and fell in love with over the few weeks but i can't remember any of the details except for standing in a white gazebo(the outdoor thing with the roof and the waist high walls but it all open) with her in a summer dress with a big white hat on...she had short black or brown hair but i can't remember the face...when i woke i felt like i was still there and was wondering where the hell i was...then i spent the next couple hours slowing realizing it never even happened

Oh my goodness I really want to read this as a book! It sounds terribly romantic and dreamy... ah lovely biggrin I love how it seems like you can live entirely different lives when you dream.

I've tried writing stories to them, except since they are random excerpts I always have trouble starting and ending in a place that wouldn't be confusing :/
But yes I am really glad this thread has really taken off because I love telling people my dreams and I love hearing people talk about them. It really shows a lot about their secret fears and joys. Things they may not even realize about themselves.
Interpreting dreams is hard though. I've long since given up reading those "dream dictionaries" because honestly those damn things seem full of shit. I think symbols mean uniquely different things to different people. I once had a dream where my mom was kidnapped by an evil corporation and turned into a robot used as a weapon in warfare. She was commanded to kill me and the rest of my family. She caught me as I was hiding in disguise and pretty much destroyed me lol I'm not surprised I had that kind of dream though because I had it after my parents got divorced and my mom went insane and took it out on me :/ But I also once had a dream where the entire dream consisted of a ticking red clock. Now what the hell can that mean? lol

Oh I just heard about this and it freaks me the hell out http://www.thisman.org/history.htm

I used to sleepwalk as a kid so back then I can't remember much dreaming and some of what I do remember is just sensation, feelings like being crushed under something so huge that I could percieve no shape or color to it. Now the only nightmares I tend to get are still related to sleepwalking, I'll 'wake up' and feel paralyzed and only able to blink or wiggle a toe (which I am trying to do as rapidly as possible hoping someone will notice (haha, even though I'm alone...)) and then feel like I'm being shoved or wrenched back into darkness/sleep (but it feels to me like what losing conciousness before dying might feel like). I hate those dreams, sometimes they happen multiple times and I'm afraid to try sleeping afterwards, because I know it's probably my own body freezing up its system so I don't go for a sleep-stroll, so it'll happen again... and again...

As for regular non-sleepwalking dreams, I rarely consider any of them nightmares, just graying levels of weirdness.

I hear it's weird to dream in color, though I've almost always dreamed in color, so anyone else? Also yes I interpret my dreams, though not with any special way or dream dictionary but with thinking about myself, the day or thoughts previously and usually I'll find my answer. Plus I'm sure my brain is very literal, so it's easy to figure it out (usually).

Please use this thread.

They're pretty much the same anyway.
