Its been about 5 or 6 years since I last read Negima. I remember I finished the school festival arc and I started reading a couple of chapters into the magic world arc. I usually like to wait for full arcs to finish before reading them (or watching them in anime). But its been about (well less) a year now that I have seen the "final battle" sub arc and I was all happy thinking that the magical world arc after all this time would end and I could read the whole thing. But darn this final battle must be a dragonball battle! It doesn't end.
Ahem. Well I was just wondering if its any close to ending. I can;t wait any longer so I started reading from the beginning. I do not mind if this manga will go on for many more years but darn won;t this arc close ever @.@

Well, the short answer is now. The most recent chapter was the climax of the arc, although I imagine there are a few left to go to get it all sorted out.

I think this next upcoming arc will be the last one. The latest released chapter is supposedly the climax of the whole story. You won't get anything more surprising than that. Probably. Maybe it will take another year at most to wrap the story and leave no plot holes behind. Honestly, "I can see the ending!" 
As much as I love Negima, and as much as I want the story to go on for decades, you can't drag a story any further when you've presented the climax. So yeah. This is probably it. The end is near.

i don't know if it's near but hopefully around 3 chapters or more left for this ark. it may be the climax but the conclusion may be suprisingly long considering the whole impact of the arc
it seems that the release is getting thinner. i remember the old negima releases are about 35 pages but now it's always less than 20. plus akamatsu seems to be taking a lot of holidays that he claimed is for research purposes so it might take around 2 months before this arc may finish

Thank you guys and girls you just made my day. Already started reading the first chapters. Ahhhh its been so nice that I have missed it. Now if only Berserk would release chapters this fast. I hope everyone will have a wonderful day
