I mean, like Lucius in "The Village", he clearly looked in love with Ivy, he was so emberrassed in her presence. Or Forney in "Where The Heart Is", the way he looked on Novalee biggrin What movies do you know with guys who are having romance written on their faces? biggrin

North and South (2005) BBC serial. Seriously... the way he looks at her... it's like... ravenous... so dangerous... so so dangerous...

I second north and south, it is a fantastic series.

If you don't mind old movies there is A Tale of Two Cities with Ronald Colman.

Awww, i know North&South already, i love it - Armitage is cute in that role. The best scene is the finale, at the station, where you can see aaall his love for her, and at the Thornton´s party when she shakes his hand - wow.

I also like the way Mr. Darcy looks on Elisabeth Bennet, in the series and in the 2005 movie as well smile Or the looks between Ray and Susie in "Lovely Bones, Westley and Buttercup in "The Princess Bride", Jo March and Laurie in "Little Woman" smile

Oh darn! That is true... Colin Firth looking at Jennifer Ehle in Pride and Prejudice was something, wasn't it? XD Boooooooooo. I got nothing at the top of my head at the moment... I should watch more movies... or re-watch movies...

I've been contemplating watching Jane Eyre... both the BBC 2006 version and the 2011 movie... you know... the tortured soul of Mr. Rochester... lolololololololol. Maybe those actors did him justice? I have yet to watch them... someone on this forum is BOUND to have watched it/them and give us an opinion. (Can you tell that my current obsession is British period dramas?)

OMG mine too XD I like the Jane Eyre series from 2006 with Ruth Wilson, it´s great and has a very yummy Mr. Rochester. The version from 2011 is somehow more dark and unpleasant, but also very good.

My favorite period dramas are currently Under The Greenwood Tree (v brave scenes between Dick and Fancy), Miss Potter, Tuck Everlasting, all the Austen movies and Ever After smile

Jane Eyre 2011 version is seriously very good. You can almost see passion lingering in the air, and the movie really played to the gothic elements in the novel.

Would the movie The Notebook count?

I saw all of them and liked them. Although, Depp didn´t really looked with love at Binoche.
