Lol, I know that sounds stupid, but I have the ACT on Saturday and I'd like to read a manga where someone shares my pain. It probably won't be to hard to find, considering most mangas have those peroids of exams, but anything would be great.

Hmm...Ichigo 100%, but it might take a while to get to that point. I'm not a big fan of it either.
I can think of plenty with a school theme but that's the only one off the top of my head that has lots to do with collage entrance exams.

i remember this oneshot about a guy trying to get to an exam beta!! it's pretty funny but not alot of studying
love hina spends a good bit on the main character studying to get into college

Beta is not what you're looking for.
Honestly, I don't think that there are many of these out there. I'd think that manga is meant to be an escape from school/studying.
Good luck on the ACT! It's evil, all college entrance exams.

ACT? Good luck. It feels easy, and one might say that it is softer than the SAT...but that doesn't actually make it easier. To put it in perspective, I scored surprisingly well on the SATs and...not so well on the ACT.
Then again, if I recall, it's a far shorter test, so there is that trade-off. SAT is up to four-and-a-half hours if you nab a slow proctor.
Good luck with it, certainly.
As for things with studying, Golden Boy certainly has lots of good studying. Lots of it. I don't really know beyond that. My personal habit is escapism, anyway, so I wouldn't know much about studying mangas, since I do too much studying in the real world.

Hmm, Chobits? I havn't read the manga but it should be almost the same right?  Cram school, part time work etc. Trying to make a living while teaching a robot (persocom) to function in human society.. etc
