I started out only watching dubbed anime, then I watched highschool of the dead then I relized that reading and entertainment can acually result in a good time. Looong story short I watched gantz, wanted more, started reading the manga, that lead to other mangas like Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu. Now I don't watch any anime (partialy because I already watched the good ones that fit my taste). How About you guys?

Also, I'm in search of a new anime, one that is a quality anime nothing that seems to be thrown together. Recently I've looked and nothing has come that was intresting since I stopped.

I used to only watch anime, and rarely read manga, but I think there is a lot more choice with manga, so after watching the anime I enjoyed I moved onto manga, and I only really read that now.

I am on the same boat as you. My friends where going to Anime North as a group a couple years ago as Soul Eater. I wanted to go so I watched the anime then read the manga and my manga addiction started from there.

Yes. I used to only watch anime, but now I barely watch any anime at all, because I can read the manga chapters much faster.

I used to watch a lot of anime, and read a lot of manga..

Now I only read manga, since there's not much on in terms of quality anime that I actually care enough to watch...

I kind of go through periods of watching anime or reading manga
like i get obsessed with an anime but then after a little while i get bored of it and start reading manga again lol
and that keeps happening >__>

my anime and manga obsessions started about 4 years ago when i saw dubbed Naruto episodes on tv and from that i started watching subbed anime online and then i discovered manga too @_@
Probably the best and worst thing to ever happen to me haha, i spend way too much time on all this stuff bigrazz

But lately i've started to try to find more anime worth watching. I'm kinda picky so it's been pretty hard ^^()
Right now i love Naruto, Gintama, Bleach (only just started to watch this >_>)
Sket Dance is amazing too @_@
Fullmetal Alchemist
oh Hetalia is brilliant XD

and some others like Darker Than Black, Death Note, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama...

i know what you mean, there aren't really a heap of seriously amazing anime that catch your interest right away T_T
i find it hard to be interested if it's not like that...so yeah >_>

I dont know if I'd really be able to suggest any for you though, sorry ^^()

I haven't been watching a lot of anime recently. It usually comes in phases, and at the moment I'm in a non-anime phase.
I haven't been in a manga phase for a while either. I feel an anime one coming on soon though. There are a few new series coming out soon which I'm interested in, so it might get me back into watching it again.

When I first began this whole reading manga thing, I hardly ever touched anime. I read manga for about 2-3 years before I decided to start watching some anime too.

I haven't watched much anime for the last 6-7 seasons...it's just that every season gets even worse...no creativity at all, only loli, panty shot, or cheap manga adaptation. Whenever I look at upcoming anime chart, it's depressing.

I used to watch a lot of anime, which led me to pick up manga. Now it's practically reversed, and, though I still watch anime, I only watch what's new. I also like manga better since the story can get rather dissapointing with anime when comparing the two.

Yup i do. Mostly all the anime now are adapted from manga's and the manga's are all ways ahead of the anime and the manga is mosly all ways better than the anime. Sometimes the manga and the anime are equal or even better but there mostly better than the anime.

WOW, that's what happened to me, 4 years ago eh, when you saw naruto on tv was it during a 100 episode marathon of naruto, if so, what a coincidence. bigrazz

I barely watch any anime these days. Often I'll watch one or two episodes of something that I've read in manga form, just to see how the characters might sound/move/etc. But I rarely get through the whole season.

I think I switched over with Berserk. I read the anime, then found out the manga kept going long after it ended. Then I realized pretty much all anime/manga fit together like this, and since I've always liked reading anyway...
