Personally I say "Doctor ___" or "Professor ___". Basically if they don't have a doctorate, I address them with the Professor suffix.

Well ... Possibly .... If they are a speed reader it may be possible for them to read a chapter a minute. ( As a chapter of a manga is a lot shorter than a novel's chapter. Words wise).

But if that person was looking at it from an online reader site. You need to take into account time to load the page which would vary on internet speed, and site activity. ( If download changing pages is quick)

To understand something I think takes more time than speed reading.

So read it all and understand? Probably not.

I've never gotten a facial before, but I've been wanting to buy one from Groupon.

Does anyone know if we are supposed to still tip them afterwards (even though it was bought via Groupon, etc), and if so, how much % average is the tip?

I think you're supposed to tip all beauty related services (like hairdresser, nail person, threading or waxing, etc.). Yes, even when you have a coupon. As for how much? .... Umm 15%? Idk 3-5 dollars?

But then again I'm the sort of person who would either not tip, or give a little if I don't think I'll ever come back .... >.>

An update on my itchy situation - just in case anyone cares~~ laugh

The itchy bumps quit appearing about a month ago, except for one day when 3-4 appeared one evening after my teenagers were fighting with each other most of the morning. My bet is now on some kind of weird sensitivity to something and/or a reaction to stress. Yay. roll But hey - at least it's not bugs!! biggrin

Ookay, I'm now up to date with UQ Holder!

I'd say that It's a good manga

Question, would reading it's prequel do any good?
or...... Is Mahou Sensei Negima! Good?

Thnx

Uh seeing as there are already specific forum sections for those series on this site (in case you didn't know), I really think you should ask those sort of questions there...

To be honest I hadn't read UQ Holder!, but I'm guessing it's probably an action manga, in the case of Mahou Sensei Negima it becomes an action manga later on, at the beginning it hardly had any action, it was more about a Shota teacher who happen to be a magician, lusted after several students. It's been several years since i read that tough, so I'm having problems remembering what it was all about, but i wasn't a bad read... as far as i remember.

Of course, later on, in the last arc, also the longest one, and a bit in the one before it, the manga focus much more one powering up and battles, it had interesting plot twist here and there, nothing revolutionary new, but all around enjoyable if you like shonen.

I have a Photoshop problem, and I wasn't able to find an answer using google, so you guys are my last resort. Probably. Unless I try venturing into unknown adobe forums and asking there... ._.

So whenever I try to type a name of a font I want in the search box, it only gives me the first font on the list of that letter. When I try typing the rest of the name, it makes that "error" sound and I have to search for it by scrolling.
This has been frustrating me for years.
It also seems that not all letters cause this problem, so I think it has to do with certain fonts.
I have a LOT of fonts, so I have no idea where to start.

*I don't use any font managers.
*This is a new computer, but I've had this problem with the old one, too.

Is there some quick fix for this? Or am I stuck like this?

@TofuQueen
Yay! At least you know it's nothing creepy. laugh

I've always had this problem as well. Not sure if it's to the same extent though. I don't have many fonts but there are a select few that I have to scroll through to find, the difference here I think is that Photoshop (7.0) at least has them all grouped together.

See here:

I tried to see why this would be since they have the same file properties as other fonts that are easily searchable, the only difference I see is that the first letters aren't capitalized. So I guess that is the problem. :/ I am not sure there is any way to fix that.

For some reason when I also try searching in the text box on the toolbar at top, it only shows the first on the list too. But this doesn't happen when I do this on the 'Character' character box that you can open from the 'Windows' menu, which works perfectly.

Example
