I think that little boy is Romeo. The boy with the father that is in the guild. Also, most of the guild didnt go to the island so I wonder what really happened

agreed its probably Romeo, that makes the most sense, should be interesting to see what happens, I hope its not something like a time freeze for the group and then they come back as they were 7 years ago, though it would be interesting it also would mean that they haven't grown at all in 7 years.

wow, that was a pretty good chapter...totally unexpected. I like that time skip, but just hope the mangaka doesn't pull a time freeze on the guild/everyone lose his/her memory/live a normal life kind of arc...the worst would be some reincarnation like some other manga ending 
oh yeah and that girl is probably a dragon in human form too

My guess is their magic saved them but just barely and the girl rescued them. Either they've been suspended in some kind of animation to heal or for some other reason, maybe they meet the dragons or has something to do with the dragons and this kicks of some huge new arc. they aren't aren't dead but if they are I don't think I want to read this anymore.

Doesn't seem like all the long manga like One Piece, Bleach and now Fairy Tale are all doing time skips at the same time.
I'm not sure I like the seven years though, it seems a bit long. Unless everyone was stored in a ageless state for seven years they are going to be drastically changed and I don't know if that is a good thing. Change over two years or even one is one thing but I don;t think I want to see everyone aged into their mid-twenties.

i think as well that the boy is romeo
and if i remeber right wasnt that boy (the one we saw at the last page which is 7 years later)
shown a few weeks ago in one or two pages at the end of a chapter?
i think fairy tail isn't a guild anymore and all the members have gone there own ways through the past 7 years cuz i cant come up with someone who could be the representativ of makarov
everybody i could think of was on that island...
and i hope the time passes for them as well
time freeze would suck
but the question then would be why didnt they return to fairy tail then?
(they they in the chapter that they surched for survivers half a year long but coudnt finde anybody so i asume that nobody returned
i dont think that they are dead though)

well I was guessing that the author might add as timeskip in Fairy Tail but I didn't expect it to have an end like that,,,
anyways,,, like everyone says I too think that perhaps that's Romeo,,,
I don't think that Natsu and everyone on that island has died, and I don't think that they are on time freeze (maybe)...
so perhaps that girl (Who might be the master of THAT dragon forgot the name), she might have sent them to other dimension, something like that ahah..

I wonder what, if anything, the mysterious girl did... maybe she's the spirit of Mavis Vermillion, founder and 1st Master of Fairy Tail? We were never told Mavis' gender...

Shocking, but great chapter. I also remember seeing a frontal view of the boy at the end of one chapter, but I don't remember which chapter.
I don't think they are dead, cause it would kill the series for most people. Also too many questions, left as we don't know everything about the dragonslayers and dragons disappearance. Also Zeref acted like he knew Natsu so that's left unsolved.
The mystery boy is most likely Romeo, but if it isn't and he's a dragonslayer and maybe a fire one like Natsu. Then everyone probably died, but that wouldn't make sense.
Can't wait for next week and find out more.
