MangaArt is seeking to recruit new staff members to work on some of our projects. What we need most right now are editors; for our group, editors do the jobs of cleaning and typesetting (though we are willing to split the jobs if requested, just ask in your application). No experience is necessary!

Projects which currently are in need of dedicated editors:
Hime-chan no Ribon
Akazukin Chacha
Angelique

We are also in need of experienced QCers. I must emphasize that we are only interested in experienced individuals (with experience editing and/or QCing manga); we do not currently have anyone with time to train inexperienced QCers.

QCers can basically work on any of our series that they wish.

Interested parties should apply using the form on our site available here. Replying here is fine if you have questions though. biggrin

MangaArt is a laid-back group with a lively IRC channel and some very fun projects. Please message or submit a test if interested in joining us! Instructions are in the initial post.

We are willing to train anyone who is willing to learn to edit!

We will soon be restarting our long-stalled project, Kenzen Renai Life as well, and will need an editor (or typesetter or cleaner). It's a departure from our usual fare; it's a 4-koma manga with some tastefully-done, smart but often ecchi humor. If this sort of project interests you, it's a great time to join.

If you're looking for a quality-oriented group that offers you autonomy and flexibility in the projects you work on, apply to join our staff!

We still need editors/typesetters/cleaners for Angelique, Akazukin Chacha, Hime-chan no Ribon, and Kenzen Renai Life. Join us!

We are nearing completion on many of our projects. Although we are a relatively slow (but quality-minded) group, it's important to us not to leave things hanging. Please consider helping us if you enjoy the type of projects I've listed!

We are only 2 and a half volumes from the END of Hime-chan!

We are only 2 volumes away from Poppy-kun's first appearance in Akazukin Chacha!

And our other series deserve attention as well, of course! Angelique and Kenzen Renai Life have not seen releases in a long time, but we are steadily reviving them.

If anyone would like to help us with editing (typesetting/cleaning) these, please do apply!

We also need QCers, which is a less time-consuming job. biggrin

Feel free to contact me with questions!

We are a really fun and supportive community and we would love some new members!

You might be a good fit for our group if:

- You're interested in joining a group that's mostly post-college age
- You'd like a little flexibility of the genres you work on
- You're a little wary of joining a new start-up group because you don't know how long it will be around (we've been around almost 10 years!)
- You know the difference between wary and weary

If any of these apply to you, apply to join us!

Our group leader is a squirrel!

You'd have to be... NUTS not to want to work for a squirrel!

Join us!

Appreciation of lame humor is recommended.

We really need editors! We would be able to bring you releases of Seigi no Mikata, Hime-chan no Ribon, Akazukin Chacha, Angelique and more MUCH FASTER if we had more help. Please apply!

We are more than happy if editors can provide just a few chapters a year!

MangaArt still needs editors, badly. We have enough staff for all other jobs to keep releases coming, but we do not have enough editors right now to even approach working through our backlog of translations- please apply!!
