I loved Angel Densetsu. 
Gokusen is about some tough yakuza, and it has pretty good humor
Barihaken is the same "accidentally a leader of a gang" thing

Fujimura-kun Meitsu "Accidentally" middle of a harem
Arakawa Under the Bridge all gags
Toradora! tough-looking guy prejudiced against (along with the class bitch)
D-Frag! similar to Fujimura
Edit: almost forgot: Yanki-kun to Megane-chan

Haha Maan ur awesome I've been looking for the same shit & i totatly understand you,
Dont look at Gokusen it's kinda bad vs Angel densetsu in all aspects that ur looking for.
also Arakawa Under the Bridge isnt either what ur looking for. and for toradora Lol Dont even look at that. Most of the mangas that got recommended are "worse" if i might say so
Look at Kenka Shoubai Ocha Nigosu GTO None of these mangas goes normal guy to Angel densetsu guy Lol.

I second Gokusen. It's hilarious, and the main character does have a certain naïvité, though she isn't nearly as dense as Kitano. Moreover, lots of delinquents and martial arts/fighting.
