aha yes I am also trying to look for more of that kind, looks like all the good ones are taken.

Unfortunately the ones I will be listing are not MMORPG, they just happen to have the MMORPG elements (stats and stuff).

Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka - This one very similar to MMO, does not take place in a game though, except in a fantasy setting and they also get stats and stuff.

DICE - Takes place in real life setting but has some game feature things set to it, haven't read it myself though

The Gamer - Another one, MC just randomly gets a power that allows him to see level of everyone, and also he can pull up a stat screen and inventory too. Pretty funny imo

Hunter x Hunter - Not MMO, but there is an MMO arc (Greed Island)

The best I can suggest is reading the Google translated version of Ark and Moonlight sculptor (Really bad and hard to understand, but you should get the general idea of it)

If you don't mind grittier sienens then there's Natsunokumo and Reset though reset probably can't be called a massively multiplayer given that its local to one apartment block.

As others have posted before me, Log Horizon is your best bet. It came out of no where a few weeks ago and anime is showing on tv in Japan. There's a subber following along with it.

I think you should reevaluate Gamerz Heaven!. I read the first volume and I think the shounen ai is weak and more like brotherly love.

Then of course, there's Btooom! where the characters are in an MMORPG style death game.

Maou na Ano Ko to Murabito A its the closest one i can think of, not a game but RPG setting.

try Mushoku Tensei (Novel) it's not an RPG but the setting is basically your normal fantasy RPG
with magic and swords etc.

Re:Monster is a new novel and there is a manga with a few chapters so don't expect much reading from that, it's more of a rpg though

They aren't really what I call MMORPG manga... But they have that kind of element to them... These are all my favourites.

These that I recommend, all have a manga... Some have a light novel. Please read the manga first, then the light novel. It's better this way. I'll list the ones with light novels with an (L)... Or at least the ones I've read...

Sentou Jousai Masurawo - Teams up with virus and joins tournaments...
Tsuyokute New Saga - A hero at the edge of death has a chance to redo everything....
World Customize Creator - Hecan customize the world. Pretty awesome

Only Sense Online (Novel), the gender bender is the same kind as 1/2 Prince. but backwards (guy playing female character).

The translation is a little strange but it's proper English for the most part. The synopsis sucks though... only a few people realize the true power of a support build.

If you like playing a crafter in mmorpgs you'll probably like this, its easy to identify with Yun.
