I'm only up to Volume 6 in the series but I really love Shuri from Basara.
Other than him, while he's not the real male lead, I adore Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi.

lol, dunno why i smiled when i saw ur thread, the first one in my mind is kail from RED RIVER... two words, prince and gorgeous.. love him till now.. )))) >still smiling<
*check my list* hokuto from Hapi Mari he's the type of husband that i like.. loyal devoted husband.. wish so much that i gonna get a husband like that.. william from Emma it's a seinen, but it does deserve to be in my list ouji from itadakimasu a mature young man but can get funny plus immature according to situation.. lol, i like his reaction when the naeko didn't want to marry him.. izark in kanata kara just like i like kail, i like him too.. he knows how to protect his loved one.. damn i love his possesiveness.. yato from kindan no koi wo shiyou (n' the so on sequel) his childishness sometimes makes me want to jump into my pc n hug him.. yakumo from Shinrei Tantei Yakumo - Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru.. lovable
out from the adult male, let's talk bout the boys tsubaki from koi dano ai dano.. he's supportive n' kinda loyal.. never give up on kanoko (no matter how oblivious things are).. this guy might be anonymous but he's kazuki from koi, hirari.. he's quite arrogant at first but it triggered the shoujo feeling i have when read shoujos.. arou from mekakushi no kuni he's soo neutral but in the same time fill with mystery.. ryuji from tokyo crazy paradise yako from yurara no tsuki this guy deserve to be in my list.. he make me cried for hours..
(so many candidates but what matter is the one i remember the most, which is the first guy that i first wrote ^^)

Quote from p3pelepe Most shoujo male leads are typical (if not princely, they tend to be naughty/ wild/ even abusive ) , IMO, thus I have difficulties to recall... They feel the same to me. Anyway after some brainstorming, these leads are I like the most due to their uniqueness: - Cain C. Hargreaves from [m]God Ch[/m] ...
I read Usotsuki Lily because of this thread. Win.

Usui - Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (I just love him, and I think almost everyone said him) Raimon - tsubasa wo motsu mono (I just love his devotion to Kotobuki) Zen - Akagami no shirayukihime (the definition of the perfect prince) Kurosaki - Dengeki Daisy (Tsundere males are the best) Natsume - Gakuen Alice (so cute) Rain - Meteor Methuselah (He is just adorable) Makoto - W Juliet (So cute and strong) Yoiyami - Ten no ryuu chi no sakura (The kindest dragon you will ever know) Daisuke - DNAngel (I just love him so much) Ryuji - Tokyo Crazy Paradise (Doesn't seem like he's 14 at all, seriously)
And there's a lot more of them but I've think that's enough for now. They're not in any particular order.

Kuranosuke from Kuragehime!! The onii-san too!! Gouda Takeshi from Kimi wa Pet Leon from Kiss & Never Cry Sekine from Sekine-kun no Koi and the Sensei from Mud
most of them are from Josei manga, and really not of the typical perfect male lead, which make them really memorable, except the onii-san (forget the name) and Leon, who are just very, very pure and adorable
if I may add : Alucard
Forget to add: Ryuichi and Kotaro from Gakuen Babysitters for the most adorable male leads I've ever seen!!

Rain from Meteor Methuselah: His hair.... * ¬ * He's so darn cute and innocent too. And selfless. And brave. And tragic. And all around huggable. Ageha from Basara: ... What's wrong with me swooning over men with long hair? Semimaru from 7 Seeds: He's the rare comic relief character with a lot of depth. And hair. Harvey from Kieli: Man, I have a thing for tragic characters too.. Yoh from Koukou Debut: Probably my favorite male lead when it comes to school life manga. So faithful. :'D Kainen from Masca: Tragic, long hair. I am too easy to please. Tomoe from Kamisama Hajimemashita: Hnnnhhfgjgkf-
Those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head.

Ooh I agree with many of the previous posters
Kurosaki (Dengeki Daisy) yes, we all have a thing for a guy who looks like a delinquent but actually has a good heart and an amazing brain, even better if he's a hero who fights along the side of the heroine.
Morita (Honey and Clover) again, a rebel, but a good guy, and a genius.
Yoh (Koukou Debut) because he's in love with a hardcore tomboy, which means he's got balls to not feel inferior to her
En (Usotsuki Lily) I actually haven't read far enough into the manga to know the characters better, but he's hilarious and very un-traditional, so that's a plus
Haru (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) also haven't read too far into this, but he fits the rebel+good heart+brains, and on top of that he's more interested in forming connections with people than his own success. Also, irresistibly hot, in my opinion

I certainly adore Kurose (from Hiyokoi). Once I encountered this character, I jumped out of my seat. FINALLY! Finally, there's a character who does not place his childhood girl friend BEFORE his girlfriend-to-be.
