I love the nice guys in mangas, hate bad boys, eww (some exceptions of course).
-Nice guys that comes to mind is Shingo? from Hot Gimmick- perfect type of dude lol, just my type that obviously doesn't exist
-Leo from Beast Master
-Yakumo from Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (he's hot and cute)
-Akito from Child's Toy- my love for tsunderes started from him
-Also love Tsubaki from Koi Dano Ai Dano
-Rain from Immortal Rain, yes I agree, a nice, funny, tragic guy
-Kainen from Masca as well
Now that I think about it, I like guys depending on their actions towards the heroine and who cares more for her, than being a jerk and all. I do hate certain type of tsunderes, like some are more jerk than a tsun, I like the one's that are more gentle.
I also love obsessive male leads as well, like really posessive, but I can't really think of a good one right now, maybe Peter (rabbit dude) from Heart no Kuni no Alice- nice and pyscho XD

For leads I love, it's really hard to come up with a few names since I have a lot but in general, the type of guys I tend to adore in manga are like:
Kouichi from Cat Street
Kenji from Fukuyadou Honpo
I really like the older, dependable type. But at the same time...
Rei from Cat Street
Okamoto from My Hero!
Suwa from Orange (TAKANO Ichigo)
The cute, sporty type is really hard to ignore...

These are the guys I would like to become my boyfriend (all of them at the same time is ok  ). I just can't choose between them 
Natsume Yuujinchou: Natsume - he's too cute, sweet, and kind
Midnight Secretary: Kyouhei - I love it when he's like, "You're mine"
Ouran Host Club: Kyouya - in a reverse harem, glasses guy never have a chance, makes me feel sorry for them
Beast master: Leo - I want an adorable pet, I mean, boyfriend, just like him
Basara: either Asagi or Ageha. Their circumstances just tug my heart.
Reimei no Arcana: either Ceasar or Loki
7 Seeds: either Arashi or Aramaki
Koi dano Ai dano: Tsubaki
The best male lead is the one who is supportive and understand of the female lead, I guess.

I love several male leads, but the one that comes to mind is Takumi, in Nana .
I wouldn't want him as boyfriend but he is a well built character.

I really hate Takumi, he's as cold and rough as a block of ice, the one I love is Ren for being a cool, lovely character
Though the one I prefer over everyone else is Usui Takumi from Kaichou wa maid-sama, he's really cute and he can do anything for the girl he loves, apart from the fact that he is the most handsome anime/manga character I've ever seen. >.<

Brave choice ;D I have a hate/love relationship with Takumi, but most of the time it's just hate or maybe repulsion? Okay, maybe I'm being too extreme. Takumi is a complex character and his past resonates more realistically with me than any sob story I've come across in shoujo/josei/yaoi etc. I probably wouldn't despise Takumi if he was married to Reira and cheating on her, lol, but it kills me that he cheats on Hachiko. Maybe if there wasn't a Nobu, or maybe if there wasn't a Reira, and maybe...well you get the point.
Urgh, talking about NANA makes me miss this manga so much. It'll kill me if she never finishes this series.

That's what I like in him. He's not nice and he'd not a hero. That's why he gave such a strong impression. And one thing that makes me like the character is the fact that he didn't lie. He never put Hachiko first, and he never said he would. Anyway, all characters were really well built. Like PansyWansyLinsy, i just miss Nana. 
Hope the rumours are true and Ai Yazawa is really back.
