no no, i'm not trying to look for something to read.. i'm just curious on how many manga that has a scene of this out there.. so just point out at what chapter it is (no link needed....)
example:
the last scene of Ratman chapter 4 "i'm the ratman"
the scene on Kekkaishi chapter 19 "i wanna get stronger"

Imo every manga has "Ï wanna get stronger", it just depends on stronger at what and for who.
At what:
- determined by the genre (eg Shounen, Shoujo)
- Shounen: normally stronger at fighting, able to overcome a new (evil) opponent, able to protect loved ones and the innocent
- Shoujo: stronger to win the girl/guy, stronger to take the blows of unrequited love, stronger to be able to protect loved ones
For who:
- to meet expectations/surpass the mentor figure (Master etc.)
- to protect (this is cliched to the point where I can totally predict when it's gna appear)
- to improve self
In general, the quest for strength happens in every manga with a plotline, because the bosses get harder and harder to defeat (Shounen), or else the trials and tribulations met by the couple get tougher (Shoujo). Conversely, you're not likely to see the desperate bid for improvement in oneshots or other stories with no/shallow plotlines, such as the smutty Harem kinds.

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa has it in chapter 16, I think.
I know I've seen it elsewhere, but I can't think of any others at the moment.

Don't rly remember the chapter but it was the glasses chick and it ended up with dudes back covered in urine, rather different spin on it xp.
