I'm looking for manga for my 11 year old sister for christmas- but most of the manga I like is too grown up for her so I don't know what to get- she really likes degenki daisy, merupuri, kimi ni todoke (she thinks this is just ok- sort of slow) and Koukou Debut- can anyone recommend some manga with a good romance that isn't too adult- I don't want the girl chasing after the guy in any way either- the guy most love the girl like crazy Thanks!!

Pretty much any of the romance series out there without smut are good for that age. I suggest searching for romance non-Smut and non-Borderline. Also no Ecchi... That's a bad one as well.

Cardcaptor Sakura I hear is good.
Glass no Kamen is definitely a classic!
...and all of these have excellent animes! Glass no Kamen though, you should stick with the 2005 one.
If she liked the author of Dengeki Daisy try Beast Master, only two volumes so you can get her the set for cheap!

To add on, I remember Ashita no Ousama, though josei, as being appropriate for all ages (correct me if I'm wrong).
And Kanata Kara is a wholesome fantasy.
