The fight ends.. Another comparison of Luffy to Roger, they can hear the sea kings voice. The chapter ends with Luffy asking for Jinbei to join his crew. Somewhat expected, alot were expecting this ever since the war.

God I hoped and hoped it wouldn't be jinbei..... whyyyyyy is it jinbei, yet another dude, and yet another person that's useless other than close to mid range combat..... why couldn't it be someone with a use or at least someone with no "kintama" >_< btw gratz on the speed post

I think Jinbe would be a great addition to the crew and he already has shown just how formidable he truly is in combat. At the very least, Luffy finally got his 10th member for his crew.
As for the rest of the chapter, I like how the arc ended, though I am interested to see how Hody and Van Decken will be punish.
Can't wait to see next week's chapter.

Traveling the oceans with Jinbe might have its perks. I too was hoping for another female companion but another fighter type is cool. Now I can't wait for next week to come.

Dont see why they need long range, they got Nami, Robin and Usopp, Mid/close range Franky and Brooks (He is kinda a support from mid range), Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, though Zoro and Luffy can go mid range to so from what i see the only pure close range is Sanji and even Jimbe is mid/close range dang though yea they could use another female, common 8 males 2 females  would had been nice with a melee female for a change

what was really hoping for cray-baby to join, but she's too big for the crew (except if they can change size (like they can change to human for a certain period...I think). Jimbei feels more like another leader, so he can rebuild his own crew. It doesn't feel right for him to join luffy's team.

I don't quite get why people are complaining about what type of fighter Jinbe is. He can can literally throw the ocean at you. Seriously, why are people complaining at this. If there's anything to complain about it's that sea kings can talk, for lack of a better description, and have created a very complex society despite lack of any foreshadowing. Chapter was slow for obvious reasons. The bit with Robin whipping around Chopper like a dummy was pretty funny though.

did he realy got his 10th nakama even if jimbay joins?
the question is if luffy does count himself as well in the 10 or not
cuz if not (that is what i hope for) then there should be anouther one joining
and maybe that one will be a girl in the new world the next island maybe
woudnt that be awesome?!!!

Well until I saw the picture I thought Jinbe was going to reject it... Now I'm not so sure. I mean I like him well enough, but I was hoping for another girl. Who knows what Oda's plan is, though.
On another note, I'm a bit disappointed that Luffy seemed a little... weak? Not exactly the word I'm looking for, but nevermind. Still, everone's new skills are really awesome, and I've enjoyed the arc so far.
Do you think the "power to end the world" thing the king was talking about has to do with the history and such that Robin can read?

Well i was wrong... to me it was a girl( the princess) but when i saw her that big ... i wondered if i was wrong and there wasnt going to be a new crew member this arc... but seems like i was partialy right new nakama... not a girl tho
