its usually power that makes people evil... anyone would steal, rape, or murder if they can getaway with it unless you have been tamed really really well, lol...

You only need a religious doctrine to manipulate people. I'd guess I would wage if I should kill that person or not. Well actually, I guess I would use it to get cash, I am atrocious when it comes to my own benefits.
I would most likely either burn it or use it to benefit myself. Using it just because people piss you off; if you don't see the flawed logic in that then something is wrong.
Anger just clouds judgment. For example: Fighting with your best friend or yelling at your parents. How does it feel afterwards?
As for using it for greed...Whatever, I don't know. It really depends if it could possibly even be used that way efficiently without being caught or fucking yourself up.
It would probably be about 50% burn, 10% use, and 40% keep it locked up somewhere.
Oh, by the way, if you can write your own name in there and the time you die, would not it be possible to write like the second of February 582967?
Too bad. According the manga, you would die of a heart attack if the condition(s) is impossible to fulfill. Lol, how ironic that an attempt of prolonging your life results in your almost immediate (and painful) death.
deffinitly use it for personal gain at first, then once that was done, use it to clean up this world, i mean, according to the manga, ya dont go to heaven or hell if you use it (i dont belive in either anyway) so in the end i would get what was coming to me, so yea, i'd use it without hesatation.

That was the point wasn't it? The use of heart attacks as a means of death wasn't so that Light wouldn't get caught, it's so that people of the world can acknowledge the fact that some power is going to punish those that commit wrongful acts. Light's goal was change in the world, not to get rid of criminals. And in order for this to occur, people had to know the consequences for breaking the law, and thus the heart attacks.
If I had a Death Note, I would probably use it to manipulate events that happened in the world from behind the scenes. Probably try to ensure the destruction of certain organizations that tick me off.

light was like my idol character, up until he was being such a little pussy at the end, wow, he was like crying and whining as his last resort... if it were me i would of at least brought a gun and mikami to back me up with his own gun, lmao...
why did he have to kill with the death note 24-7... he could at least use alternative actions incase he cant write names...though i think the author did that on purpose for characteral purposes
