I want the protagonist to be someone who tries to hide that he is different and pretends to be average and then something happens and he is forced to reveal his "skills"...something like this...but pls not as in girl being a former delinquent and tries to act as a weak girl and then is forced to fight again.....something with more depth and a little bit dark would be nice.....well I really would love a manga with a scene like this ^^ ..the only examples I could come up with that are similar are threads of time Spoiler (mouse over to view) at the end of the story where he goes back to his every day life and has this last kendo match and his opponent feels how strong he is....but sadly only this one opponent XD and gantz Spoiler (mouse over to view) this one scene where the aliens start to attack and he rescues his classmates on top of the schoolbuilding ________________ got found out >.<

How about Requiem for the Phantom (that one's an anime) - Behold, minor spoiler Spoiler (mouse over to view) They (ex-hitmen) become highschoolers in a japanese highschool somewhere in the middle of the anime, but their past catches up with them The Twelve Kingdoms anime or novel - its towards the end of the anime/Youkos arc in the novels though

A highschooler can see yokai, and has to hide it from all his friends. He was bullied lots when he was younger.
