Hey guys,
so I've tried my best to find them, but kinda failed, so hoping you guys have some suggestions. here's what i like in a manga:
- strong female lead, not only physical, but also emotionally strong
- somewhat serious manga, though comedy is good too, as long as it isn't overwelming and comedy only
- if there, a male lead that doesn't rescue the female all the time
that all, here's what I've read and loved, so maybe something similar?:
- Saver
- 9 Banme no Musashi
- Hana no Kishi
- Idol Shopping
- Jigoku Shoujo
- Love in the Mask
- Red Lion
Oh, and I've already read Skip Beat, though it isn't one of my favorites.
Hope you guys can help!
xxx heyheygirl

well it seems you are looking for romances with those criteria?
web-comics:
Nineteen, Twenty-One
Orange Marmalade
mangas:
Honey Bitter
Kimi wa Boku no Toriko Nare
Yumekui Merry seinen
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun smart instead of strong
Grand Sun
Immortal Rain

I second Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
And I especially love Warau Kanoko-sama and Koi Dano Ai Dano (the sequel). Warau is more comedy/slice of life, but I guess Koi dano is more serious, although it hasn't been translated that far yet. The female lead has a really strong mindset, if that's what you're looking for.

I have heard of Medaka Box. It may meet the criteria. Also, maybe Claymore.
Definitely Dispatch!! (barely any nudity in the first volume) as well, though it is a little too wordy for my taste.
I have liked Akikan!, IO, Nagasarete Airantou, Ayu Mayu, VITA Sexualis, Seikon no Qwaser, Love Hina, Amaenaideyo!!, Ane-doki, Hatsukoi Limited., and the one-shot Futagami Double, too.
I wonder if SaiKano qualifies.
