I'll still be using my computer for all my manga necessities because of space when I have too much to put in my house and the fact that in 100km around my house there is only 1 store that sells manga. Plus getting the manga will take time if i order it online or by subscription. Anything not just on the internet is way too inconvenient to me.(of course this only applies to a few people like me)

I prefer printed volumes, since aside from comfort issues, I like looking at well-organized shelves of books, including manga. Though, I'd love if by buying the printed volume, I can also get a digital file to save on my computer/phone, since it'll make reading on the road much easier, and lighter ^^

I voted wrong, when I said on the computer. It's just my first choice because my eyesight isn't that great and manga is often printed so that the smallest text turns into mere smudges that no one can read. I do have about seven feet of manga though, in my bookshelves. (Have to have a garage sale in the spring to make more room.) But books are preferable because they are permanent, until I read something so many times that it falls apart, anyway. Your internet could be taken away at any moment in a number of events. Then again, a lot of manga is only available on the internet, and you can't get it in English if you wanted, sadly... I vote yes to all choices, except a phone. How could you read it on a tiny phone screen?

You just zoom in on a phone? I've read a lot of manga on my ipod since I don't always have a computer available. I can say from experience that it's not that different from reading on a computer except it loads a bit slower.

Probably printed. Although I would miss the color pictures!

I like paper books; nothing is better than reading a real book in bed.
But if money was really no problem, than I'd have paper books at home and electronic ones in my computer when traveling. Of course, I'm talking about my favorite stories, not just everything.

On my phone. Sure you need to zoom in and out, but having an ample supply of manga no matter where I am in the world is of greater importance. With the right app, there is no delay between each page loading.

It's also more discrete, if reading in public, and I can read manga however I want in bed (where most of my reading occurs).

Got this new phone a few days ago which has a massive (by phone standards) 4.6" 720p screen. Put a manga through it just now and I must admit it's pretty comfy. Obviously not as comfortable as a printed volume or viewing on a tablet, but still more than acceptable with a good reader app.

Printed volumes are still tops, though.

even though i do have economical problems and i do download scanlation, i still went to the bookstore to buy mangas. so i guess if money is not an issue i definitely buy printed volumes..

If I had the money, printed volumes, definitely.

Honestly, I'd be able to afford them if they cost as much as regular books ($6-$8), but $12 for 4 chapters or so is ridiculous!

Assuming I can build my own library of manga books, then physical volumes would be nice. Ultimately, I think a lot of people who read manga are or were also novel readers. Since novels are usually still in printed form, I'd be more accustomed to reading on paper. The avid TV watchers would probably prefer games and anime over manga if they could be equal.

Yes, you could. I don't know if that is realistic though.

And there are all those series that you can't buy, which I forgot about.

Computer and tablet. Computer for the big screen (and double-pages!), tablet for the convenience. Because that way I don't have trouble reading the stuff printed near the bindings... (and i hate having to worry about the state of the book spine...)

Besides, being able to screenshot my favourite pages/panels is something I've gotten used to and really appreciate.

I'd get the artbooks in print though... There's just something about the combination of print and great art...
