I like long hair on a guy. But I know a lot of girls who don't like long hair. They think it makes the guy look feminine.

As for beards, I like how they look, hate how they feel.

Hair: medium long (not long enough to put up, but not short enough to stick up)
Beard: no more than stubble, mostly clean shaven. NEVER a goatee.

But then it really depends on how it suits guys faces, and how it's all put together with the look.

Depends, if you have beautiful hair, then yes please grow it long, otherwise keep it short; whatever looks best.
No beards please; very few men look better with a beard than without.

i dont like it when the guy's hair is too long(for me too long means shoulder-length or more), i dont like it when its too short either..it should be somewhere in between.
i also hate facial hair so beard is a no-no for me

guys, if you were to get rejected by a girl, how would you want her to do it? Let's say she just didn't feel the same way about you.

While there's never really a good way to get rejected, I'd say a kind but honest response is the best you can get.

Do you mean like...

1.) This long... or...
2.) THIS long......?? ?

If any of those... Oh god, NO!

I think something like this is really nice... Is this long?? I guess for guys, it's long.... Erm...

I don't know what your definition of "long" is.... But uhhh if you have a girlfriend, don't grow your hair to longer than hers! I think it's weird for a girlfriend to have shorter hair than her boyfriend... That's just me though.... Just ask your girlfriend what her preference is, haha! >_>

There are really nice and slick "long"-ish hairstyles that I have seen in lots of Asian men that I like... such as ....------- Well, I tried Googling this but all of the ones I found were bad so I retract this statement!!!! Mmryeah, nevermind! orz

Okay, so beards. If you have stubby hairs, it hurts to kiss! (I know from experience...) So you can't even grow a beard at all! It feels best kissing when your face is smooth. It hurts the girl's chin the next couple days or so if you don't keep up with shaving your facial hair! But anyway... I find beards a turn-off.... >_<
As long as my boyfriend is not near me, he doesn't have to shave! But if he IS near me, I won't kiss him unless his face is smooth!! Chyeah!

I haven't been a member for that long, so I don't know if this question has been asked before either. BUT! Make sure you utilize the little search bar at the bottom right of each thread! (:

Pika.

Like Bafflement said, kind but honest is the way to go. Being straightforward would be another thing, don't rely on subtle hints or beating around the bush.

A related question for the girls that popped into my head, what would you think of a guy who you rejected, but came back a few days/weeks later and asked again? I imagine some girls would find it annoying, but I also know a couple who got together that way.

I have a really good friend of mine told me he loved me around three or so years ago, and then I think around six months later told me he still loved me. Both times I told him I could only see him as a friend. I didn't find it annoying at all. We were amazing friends before he asked and I told him my honest feelings. We're still good friends, and we both are each in a relationship, so it was fine. (: I guess it depends on the person though. This person in particular is someone special to me, so it didn't bother me too much.

It's different for everyone, I think. Something could spark later in between the first ask and the second ask for the girl, maybe, like the guy having asked her out could have triggered something. Idk! Anything is possible... But yeah, asking more than once may annoy some girls. Depends on the girl and the guy... and what their relationship is like, I think...!

Love,
Pika.

This has happened to me, mind you I wasn't very mature at the time, so I tried not to deal with it. I thought I had made it pretty clear the first time around.

I suppose it all depends on who you're talking to. I'd like to think that if ever I was in that situation again I would handle it better. I might agree to it the second time around if I was sort of doubting myself the first time around. But if the feelings aren't there, what could you do about it? I would only find it annoying if he were purposely being annoying. If his feelings are genuine then I'd feel kind of bad.

lol I wouldn't want to be rejected by any means

personally I would like for her to state clearly why (better when she has another person she likes) and after that she has to distance herself from me (no contact at all).
may seem harsh, but it's the best way
don't want to keep my hopes high if there is none in the first place

I second most of that. To put in points

* Say why. "No feeling" is not good enough. appearence?personality?already committed?religion differences?
* do not give him hope. examples:
** showing that you feel sad.
** no "let's be friends" consolations. he needs to accept and move on. not invent excuses.
* take the initiative to cut all contact. granted that is the guy's job. but getting-over-you process will end faster if you do that. you wouldnt want someone bugging you for a few years looking at you with glittering puppy eyes wishing to be adopted. not a good prospect. do the right thing.
* be honest. first thing with yourself and then with him.

for a whole year this guy hung around me and only told me he liked me four times. to me he was a really REALLY good friend. i was never annoyed but kinda touched. still didnt mean i would go out with him. i knew we wouldn't work out from the start. i still talk to him even though i moved to a different state.

um...would you guys really want to drop all contact with an ex?? i mean, i can totally understand why, but...hmm idk. it doesn't seem harsh but at the same time it does. does that make sense?? oh dear, i just confused myself. @_@
