So I'm looking for a manga where the protagonist has the powers that only the bad guys have (like the power itself makes them bad)
examples are Taisuke from Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen and Hei from Darker than Black

....The description is wrong or in a sense right from the beginnings standpoint, he thought it was that but the true wish was something entirely different sir, since he tried to forget it

When he as a kid watched a anime that was about a bad guy that was trying to conquer the world, but that wasnt the point of what he was doing, he was trying to bring peace by conquering it, thus Eiji thinking it was cool to conquer the world for peace wished for conquering the world, how is that a wish to destroy the world? Have you even read the manga :o?

I was under the impression OP was after something that displays the contrast of someone who is fundamentally good using a power associated with evil. Although he does only say protagonist so obviously death note applies. Not as interesting though since Light is a villain protagonist.
