No. Seijurou has it right. Yandere is basically crazy in love. Not just crazy, not just in love, not just possessive, and not pretending to be cute but actually a brute.

Its "I love you and I will slit the throat of anyone who gets in the way of our love & if I cant have you I might just kill you as well."

Anyway there arent many genuine yandere guys in manga/anime. Nozomu from Hadashi de Bara o Fume is the closest yandere guy version I could think of. Most of the others I see listed here really dont count. They are sometimes creepy or possessive but its not enough.

the male lead Aishite Kudasai, Sensei is super duper crazy yandere

From what I remember, Kyo → Dai Dakara nandayo!? fits.

Bokura no Koi wa Shi ni Itaru Yamai no You de but I still can't decide if he hates her or loves her. Very mixed up.

Goong The cousin is more yandere than the main guy though.

Also vampire knight. I think Kaname and Zero both would fit...

I havent read the rest of those but Zero is not a yandere. If Zero was a yandere he wouldnt be just sitting back while she is sucking faces w/ Kaname. Kaname I cant comment on because there is alot of mystery surrounding him and I find him to be a confusing character. But from what I have read he also is not a yandere.

You guys need to watch or read School Days. Its a short & easy example.

This isnt the first time I've seen a male yandere request and again the characters mentioned are not yanderes. Just possessive or jealous.

Exactly, Whatever. I have read some chapters of Goong and Vampire Knight, too. In my opinion they are just really obsessed with the one they love. They may kill some people here and there, but they don't do it just because they are in love. There is no comparison to a true Yandere like Yuno.

By the way, how about Russia from Hetalia or Mao from Code Geass? They aren't main characters though.

Yeah Zero is definitely not a yandere, i dont even think hes obsessed with love. Kaname on the orher hand, did indeed utter the famous " i'll kill you if you leave me" phrase, though its hard to tell how serious he is with it, so at least he has yandere tendency?
