i know Doctors that smoked as teens and that didn't stop them from becoming someone...

Bolded for past tense.
To reiterate, those doctors stopped smoking weed to get to where they are.

And seriously, stop saying that you're a chemist. No one really gives a crap.

i tough it was related, and it's not like i'm going to smoke for the rest of my life.

EDIT :Maybe the text here was a bit too much so i'm deleting it.

Also, i was missing you Scyfon biggrin

EDIT2: You REALLY, wont care about this since you said you don't want to know about me but my uncle is a Doctor (have a Doctorade on Geological Science), he still smokes from time to time smile wink grin

But really, it's funny how on the net people jump trough the arguments that actually mean something and search for something they can use with out paying attention to the subject and then blame the other when they remark what they said.

Funny how you say this and yet, not too long ago, you said

And my english suck, deal with it, i learned it from the internet what do you want?

I want people to get better at English (at least high-school level) before engaging in an online argument - where it be knowingly or unknowingly. It would help avoid a whole lot of misunderstandings.

No offence taken, you are right.

Just...stop.

To stay on topic:
I'm generally against drugs, but I wouldn't care if the government decided to legalize and tax marijuana. There's really nothing to lose from doing so.

I managed to catch your post before the edit. It's pretty hilarious that you are accusing people of doing the exact same thing you are doing. Despite having the known flaws in the research you stand by pointed out you completely dismiss it as not being factual. You even admitted that you didn't read or understand what some people had to say.

Oh, and to contribute to the topic. It really depends since there are some drugs that are more harmful than others.

I just said that to piss them off but read the hole thing, and nothing seemed to do much to my arguments.

Also, i post it and wait a bit before taking it out (i saved the text ofcourse) so people would read and have it in their head but it wont be reported.

Must admit i didn't tough you would save it with a quote, good job.

Also, have you noticed that not even one of your post was in topic? (till this one)

(i agree with you, and that is what i have been saying from the begging by the way)

Edit:

@silencecomes
Thanks a lot, from now on you are my Heroine (pun intended)

In the US, marijuana in my opinion should be legalized
Its better than tobacco (not by much but still better than cigs)
Medicinally it can be used for under weight people because (according to people I know who've done it, weed makes you hungry lazy and... that's about it)
And as mentioned in an earlier post, all that shit going on in the Mexican boarder could be stopped... or less intense. roll

During the years I undertook research for my Phd thesis I smoked quite regularly. The person that I tended to smoke with was completing his medical training at the time and is now operating within the field of interventional radiology (ie someone who knows what they are doing is training him not to fuck up). So that is both the traditional and medical use of the term Dr. covered.
Obviously I can't prove this short of scanning both our diplomas so you can chose to disregard this post if you wish.

I disagree, clearly pie is far more deserving of legalization. Have you ever had an apple pie? They're delicious. I had one, once, or at least I thought I did. It turned out, months later, to have been a piece of apple pie flavored bubblegum. Who would make something as stupid as pie flavored gum? As if I would want to taste something as delicious as apple pie for a half-hour straight without any of the calories. What a load of bull.

I also think we should legalize taffy. It just has such a funny name. "Taffy." Like something a duck would scream while caught in an industrial-sized sewing machine.

Really? Have you never heard about cake paste(CACO)?

Pretty nasty stuff. A plague that afflicts both rich and poor children, man, I have seen with my own eyes a 7 year old consume (oral use) 300g of the stuff in half an hour.

Some images(Not for the weak of heart, quite shocking):

YES. We should have the freedom to do whatever we want to ourselves. As long as we arent hurting anyone we should be allowed to get as high as we want.

One becomes addicted to something when the brain needs the chemicals it makes and stop producing the ones it makes related to the same "feeling" that makes the braing need the addictive stuff to be able to have that "feeling" it happens with alcohol, drugs, games, adrenaline and many things in life. When u need to use drugs to have fun or a "better" moment is that ur brain became acustomized to it and stoped using normal ways to feel "good" in that moment. I believe( without being a doctor) thats why addiction is treated like sickness.

Comming back to the real issue with this post:

i remember the alcohol ban in North america Make it ROSE the crimes dealing with alcohol related bussiness but the crimes related to the users when down... the bad thing is that the crimes dealing with the bussiness were WAY too high a lot bigger and more troublesome than thos related to the use. what ended up... stoping the ban.

Drug dealing may be like it may not. BUT i does makes more money than alcohol dealings and thats something we need to TAX and make legal, countries need the money being wasted fighting it and the money being lost because we arent Taxing it.

Its being used for cuisine too, those dished are expensive as hell because the plant needs lots of special permits for cultive.

The US doesn't have to worry about underweight people as much as the opposite...
