Yes, my Yaoi-Radar that spots a good yaoi from a mile away, I've been reading plenty of Yaoi, so most of the mainstream yaoi (Oxymoron much? Yes, that was a pun.) I've read. That includes all of Yamane Ayano sensei's work, all of Minami Haruka sensei's work, all of Minase Masara sensei's work, all of Sakuraga Mei sensei's work. Boy, this is a really long list. Yes, yes it is.

All of Nakamura Shungiku sensei's work, all of Tateno Makoto sensei's work, all of Tohjoh Asami sensei's work. Bless her soul for bringing to life all these pieces of art, and may she rest in a yaoi heaven somewhere. I've also read, the list is not exhaustive mind you:

Totally Captivated
U Don't Know Me
24 Jikan Eigyouchuu
Airyouran Gakuen
Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen de
Ai ni Somare
Super Lovers
Oshioki Gakuen
Koi Mane
Hey Class President
Embracing the Canvas
Toshishita no Ryuugi
Renai Shinan!
Katekyo!
BondZ
Furue Tsumore Shiawase no Hana
Dekichatta Danshi
Ai no Gebokutachi
Taiyou no Kikoushi
Royal Fiance
Hishoken!
Unmei no Hana
Aijin Ichimanyen

What I'm desperately looking for is: Ouji to Senichiya the complete Volume. I've read few chapters off the Chinese Scans, but I'll be eternally grateful to anyone who can tell me where I can get the full volume. The mangakas who produced these lovely works of which I've just listed, are probably on my mental checklist (which so happens to be stored in the form of an Microsoft Excel document on my laptop as well) so I've probably read all of their works.

And clearly, I'm not very particular about plot, art is subjective, as it usually is. I'm not squirmish about Smut, or 'Hard' Yaoi, Incest or even Shota. Goodness, my morals are completely gone with the wind. But yes, please do suggest any Yaoi you believe a good read that has somehow escaped my radar. I thank you in advance, kind fellow-yaoi-addict.

I hope some of my suggestions will be helpful to you, but our tastes aren't quite in sync. I love anything by Minase-sensei and Yamano-sensei, and several other things on your list, but I don't much care for Minami Haruka or Tateno Makoto. So for what it's worth, here are some of my favorites that I didn't see in your list.

MIYAMOTO Kano
FUJIYAMA Hyouta
NAONO Bohra
YAMADA Yugi
YONEDA Kou
AKIRA Norikazu
SUZUKI Tsuta
KAMURO Akira
HIDAKA Shoko
KODAKA Kazuma
SAKURAGI Yaya
CJ Michalski
IKE Reibun

Dolce
My Life With You
Wild Rock
Vassalord
Kimi wo Mukaeni
Honenuki ni Saretai
Like as the Time Will Come When it Will Rain
Kirepapa
I'm assuming you've read Haru wo Daite Ita and other works by NITTA Youka. My favorite is When a Man Loves a Man.

Sorry to the regulars here; I always suggest these. roll eyes laugh

Thanks for all the awesome recommendations, I've looked up Jazz, Love Mode, Yume no Kodomo and Replicant no Yoru, they're entirely my type of manga, it's so nice to find a kindred spirit with similar tastes. I've also checked out Summit: pretty enough art, stylistic, I must say, I like having eye candy shoved down my cornea, as painful as that sounds.

And to scarletrhodelia, a really big thank you for taking the time to list everything down, I'll take my hat off to you. You're probably right when you say that our tastes aren't quite in sync, but I really appreciate your patience. I've come across MIYAMOTO Kano, NAONO Bohra, CJ Michalski, and IKE Reibun before, but the art didn't quite suit me, so there's that. It had too much a sombre feel I believe, and I'm the flighty, frivolous sort. But as a general rule, I would say their plots' got depth, just that it's not for me.

AKIRA Norikazu sensei, SAKURAGI Yaya sensei, FUJIYAMA Hyouta sensei are already on my list, I enjoy their stories, characters and art; while they don't top the list (Yamane Ayano sensei, Sakuraga Mei sensei and Nakamura Shungiku will remain there forever if I may presume to make a conjecture) their works can be defined into two sub-categories, the one that gives me a rather soothing, pleasant feeling, and the one that makes me giggle like a lunatic. But hey, everyone's got to have a strange hobby.

The mangaka's I've yet to come across would be SUZUKI Tsuta, YONEDA Kou
KODAKA Kazuma, HIDAKA Shoko and KAMURO Akira. For these, I'd say the latter pair would fit my tastes more, I'd put them on that fore-mentioned mental checklist, and we'll see how things go. The strange case would be YAMADA Yugi because some of her manga appeal to me, and others don't. I've skipped past some of her work, and I've loyally read others, so it's difficult to make a good judgement really.

For the manga, I think I've seen all of them, the only one that's on my list is Kirepapa, it belongs to the subcategory that makes me giggle like a lunatic, well yeah. Oh and I just remembered a couple more manga I've read: Glamorous Lip, and Only the Ring Finger Knows. Glamorous Lip was my first, it opened the floodgates so to speak. And it has a special place in my computer's hard-drive, because the first is always special.

Thanks to zero-chan for te incredibly long list of manga, I've found a couple I liked, I've read Solo Sex before, and a few chapters of Haru wo Daite Ita, but I stopped for some reason, I can't quite remember why, likely it's the drawing style. My taste in art is rather specific, I took Art as a core subject before, so it made me a bit sensitive to style.

Also, thank you, Omiplant, just that you've listed the manga that's already in my list, Aishuu and Unbalance na Netsu are by Minase Masara, I've mentioned her in my first post, along with Totally Captivated, you probably missed them, it is a long list after all. Consequently, Kemono wa Ai de, Iyasareru is entirely new to me, and it looks downright appealing, I'll be getting around to reading it soon. Thanks for the suggestions!
