Well if you heard it from somewhere it's either completely fake, a rumor. Or either it's just not confirmed. And I seriously hope they won't ever be an anime version.

State your sources or else it's just gonna be left as rumors...

and I can't really imagine skip beat as an anime...don't know why, maybe because of the art laugh

it's gonna turn out to be one of those 24 or 50 episode animes that do the series well, but have crapass ending becuz the manga is still ongoing.

I totally agree, no anime please, well not until the manga finishes. Instead, they should make a Tokyo Crazy Paradise anime. Same author, great storyline, I wonder why it hasn't been done?

Hmm... If it's not going to be like "Kare Kano" I will watch it. But I seriously doubt that somebody will animate skip beat. Lately only short(13-24) series are being produced.

ps. I agree about TCP. The show would have been popular, IMHO

I wonder if it's the artwork? It sucks that they havent though, cos I would to see Tsukasa in full color! Although I also have to wonder why this seires never got licensed?

Still, I'm curious about skip beat, if nothing else but to see what the characters would look like on screen

i also agree that most anime done with the manga still running are crap, but if it will be like the wallflower, it wasn't amazing but it was still pritty darn good. esspesially against the crap that has come out in a lot of places.

also as of right now i can find no trace of plans to do one so it won't happen too soon. no

so i personally vote for a anime, on the condition that they do two things

one: has to be also left open for a sequal even if one is never done

two: must follow the manga and has to have a good production staff, please for the love of everything, no more half A## ly done animes. if they don't plan on making this one at least 26 eps for the first season don't even bother! mad

but i sill would love to see a beautifully done anime skip beat! eyes

i would really love to see a skip beat anime but i hope it doesn' t end disappointly.
for example, Ouran high School Host Club. To me, the ending was okay. although i would have love to see who haruhi ends up with, that ending was enough for me. but a lot of people expected a second season. which isn't going to happen.
another example. Fruits Basket. No second season. The ending, yeah, it's okay too but other characters are never shown. Like the horse and the bird/chicken.
But like James14775 said, if it's like the wallflower, then i'm good with it. the wallflower, even though it didn't go like the manga, it ended good. bigrazz i don't think a lot of people expect another season.
and if there is really a skip beat anime, then i hope they keep the good art. and good voices.
For example, Whistle! was turn into an anime. But the art, yuck, did not look like manga. i could not watch it. and the voices, it did not fit them. that is my opinion. i could not finish the Whistle anime. It also started all wrong.
eek
so, i hope that if a skip beat anime is made, it won't be stupid.

Apparently so.

In moonphase, it is in the works. The studio who’ll be producing it will be Hal Film Maker (who’s also behind Aria, Princess Tutu, Pretear, and Boys Be) to be directed by Kiyoko Sayama (director of Pretear, Princess Tutu, and Vampire Knight). And it’s airing this Autumn.

It is definately going to be made into an anime starting in the fall. My source is the animenewsnetwork.com which is definitely reliable news source

The Japanese media production company Pony Canyon has confirmed on Friday that Yoshiki Nakamura's Skip Beat! shōjo manga will be animated for television this fall. The story revolves a teenaged girl named Kyōko who followed her childhood friend Shō to Tokyo as he pursues his dream of becoming a star. Despite playing housekeeper and taking care of Shō, Kyōko overhears Shō dismissing her as a boring nobody. Furious, Kyōko vows to also become a singer and defeat Shō.

Kiyoko Sayama (Angel Sanctuary, Pretear, Princess Tutu, Vampire Knight) will direct the animators at Hal Film Maker (Angel Sanctuary, Pretear, Princess Tutu), while Mayori Sekijima (Angel Sanctuary, Clamp School, Petite Cossette) will oversee the scripts. Hakusensha has been publishing the manga in Hana to Yume magazine, and 6 million copies of the 18 current volumes have been published so far. Viz Media will ship the 13th volume of the manga in North America in two weeks.

I just heard about it.

I'm giddy all over. XD Never thought I'd see the day.

Now if only Hana-Kimi was announced... D: That would make my day. scratch that, it make my year.

First question that popped up to mind was "wonder how many episodes". ;P
