Quote
A recent television program listing in Japan reports that the Bleach television anime series will end its run in TV Tokyo's 6:00 p.m. Tuesday timeslot on March 27. When a Twitter follower of Bleach animation director Hiroki Takagi sent him an image of the listings, Takagi responded by saying, "So quick. I was going to paste itů /(^o^)\"

Shueisha, the publisher of Tite Kubo's original manga, had already announced that the weekly Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on Tuesday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m.

i think they don't want to make anymore fillers and continue it when the manga is far ahead in chapters.

Wow, such shocking news, to have one of the Big 3 ending suddenly just like that without even a proper conclusion . . . Has Bleach fallen so much out of popularity?

It's just the anime that's ending.

rating =/= popularity.

Excuse me but I hope I am not the only one noticing that the quote referring to the Bleach anime ending actually never states that the anime is in fact ending, but that it will not be appearing in that specific time slot. I just have to wonder why everyone is taking this to mean that the Bleach anime is actually ending.

Okay...any chance you happen to know a site saying that to be in fact true? As of this moment the only post I have seen suggests that it is simply losing its time slot. Perhaps I am wrong about this fact but since I actually like the show, when it is actually dealing with the proper storyline and not the filler, I would like to make sure that it is truly ending before giving up on it.
