Hi, I've watched the Trigun anime series and really enjoyed it. I was just wondering if the manga's story is significantly different or if reading the manga would be like watching the anime again. I'd call the Fullmetal Alchemist manga significantly different from the anime, but it doesn't have to be to that extent.

Thanks.

Yes, it's a bit different.

so some questions from me
i saw the anime
loved the first 5-10 episodes
HATED THE REST
Spoiler (highlight to view)
i think my hate started when one of the girls fall in love with vash WHY DID THAT HAPPEN
and it peaked when the other girl had sex with wolfwood after him killing a child infront of her eyes

it all felt so forced and BAD and Vash having more and more of a mother complex with constant flashbacks to his adoptive mother and she is all he thinks about

so
is the manga building these things up better?
or is it just as shitty as the anime?
there are alot more things i disslike with the anime but those are IMO the worst

The manga has the same themes and stuff. There's more gun-ho guns though and there's more sci-fi stuff than in the anime. But other than that it's pretty much the same.
