Also when I clicked on the same and saw the cover, I went "oh crap, loli" but I dig some digging (mostly on tvtropes) and found a reason to start reading this. Basara I've been avoiding reading this. Mostly because it seemed to have would have a Legend of Nereid feel to it. Also I tend to dislike things described as "beautiful". It didn't help that it had the whole "prophecy" that leads to an unrealistic messiah character. I couldn't work passed the first page because of all the the doubts in my head, but I'll try to put that aside when I pick it up again. For those two, the comments seemed too good to be true. PSYЯEN It gave off the feeling that it wouldn't be too original and I wouldn't be one edge while reading it. I think that's pretty harsh myself, but I decided to be honest. I was being too picky in the beginning that's why I never noticed. It doesn't help that I have an aversion to Play or die and apocalypse categories due to a few bad experiences. Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen Same thing with the above more or less. Immortal Regis Read some of the comments. 7 Seeds Also prejudice against survival themes due to a number of bad experiences. Already started Banana Fish. Aside from Banana Fish, since I've already started it, can anyone tell me why it was so "satisfying" for you? How did it compare to the more mainstream stuff?

You stopped reading after 1 page? If you don't want to read something due to your own misguided prejudices then don't bother trying and don't bother wasting other people's time reading your long post and thinking of manga that suit your request. ________________

I wasn't incredibly kind and like I pointed out, I was entirely too picky and foolish. The reason why I bumped this again was trying to change my ways and I was merely pointing out my stupid flaws. I'm sorry that I still came off that way. Truly. Honestly. Although I used the excuse of the whole "my on-hold" list is piling up, I really just wanted to be...well "satisfied." My goal is to someday become a comic writer and I thought that if I never felt satisfied myself how can I satisfy others? I just wanted to read one thing to inspire me to come off as a better writer. Although I was incredibly prejudice as you've said, it was to the work not to the people that took their honest time trying to find something that suit my request. It really made me happy. Again, I had merely been pointing out what I had thought along time ago and I wanted someone to prove me wrong. I realized that even while making that post, no one should have to take a part of their time to dedicate their selves to something I could do myself by reading. Really sorry for how long this is. I guess what I'm really trying to say was that that whole post was me really making fun of myself for being so idiotic and jaded. I'm really trying my hardest to stop being that way.
