Here is an odd request:
I'm looking for a manga with a generally sympathetic female character who isn't exactly on the bright side (in other words is dumb). Said character is rather kind and unconditionally loves the male lead.
An example of that would be Musubi from Sekirei. She is quite likable, despite being dumb. She is also kind and innocent, which makes her affection for MC seem to have roots in umm.. love(?) rather than lust.
Obviously a manga like that needs some romance in it.
Normally I would write that I prefer non-harem and non-ecchi suggestions, but I guess that might be a bit hard to come by with this request. However if it's a harem said character should be the leading girl (and the one MC ends up with), though "marry them all" might be tolerable as well (it kind of worked in Sekirei).
What I don't want to see is: Hentai(same with borderline H)\Shounen-Ai\Shoujo-Ai
I would also appreciate if the MC wasn't a pervert.

Maybe... Chobits? She's not really dumb per se, more like... special? And the mc is kind of a pervert, but it'snot the main focus of the story, which btw, has some depht about it, so it's ok, I guess.

Maybe Arakawa Under the Bridge ? Or look for smut manga. Most of the female leads there are dumb beyond belief (Not really lovable though)

Oresama Teacher. I'd say she's a lovable idiot. And hilarious.

Quote from xCrystal She most definitely is, and the manga itself is great, but there is no "unconditional love" in Oresama Teacher.
Also, I second Arakawa under the bridge. Nino is a shining example of a "lovable idiot".
Btw, about stories with a "lovable idiot" protagonist, but not really the "unconditional love" thing, Nodame Cantabile is good too.

Yanki-kun to Megane-chan mostly fits except the unconditional love part. Hana sticks with Daichi through anything and she's the one that actively sought him out to be friends at least. But her motives or mind is something of a mystery. If it's revealed that she liked him all along I wouldn't be surprised but like I said, we don't get a look at her mind.

In the shounen-school-life world, the heroine is usually actually pretty smart, albeit clumsy sometimes (for 'service' purposes), like in Ichigo 100%. The female lead's rival in Love Hina also fits the description.
I see that you have dropped Akikan! If that was because it is largely unscanlated, I suggest trying out Yuria Type 100 for a similar concept.
Yomeiro-Choice is a nice option, too, especially if we considered the kids 'stupid.' Speaking of children, I guess Shinshi na Meets Girl could work as well.
My Wife is a High School Girl's Asami can be considered quite naive also, and she loves her husband a lot.
Well, that's it, since you are already reading Rappi Rangai, and I didn't mention High School Girls because there is no romance in it.

Hana to Akuma I think this should fit into that description. dont be put off by the cover art, the art is better than the cover makes it seem as I recall

From Far Away - a tad on the dumb side, and absolutely lovable. She does her best with everything, and is adorably attached to the male lead.

Special A fits, I think. She's in the top of her class in terms of grades, but she is basically a lovable idiot at everything else. The grades aren't really a big deal.
Edit: I just realized that you've already read it, but I'll leave the suggestion here just in case someone else is looking for the same sort of thing who hasn't already read it.

Dear definitely fits this. i adore chiruha <3 she's super innocent, adorable, but horribly naive since she her only knowledge of society was through a television, lol. she's really attached to kisara and is kinda oblivious to the fact that he wants to kill her (at first). if you don't mind loli-ish females and bishounen, definitely give it a shot (and if you dont mind tsundere's, check out the prequel Watashi no Ookami-san).
