Madara and Tsunade were basically repeating Sasuke and Naruto's lines in that fight there, so after all that "will of fire" speechifying, I'd be surprised if the Naruto stand-in were to die.

Member 5:37 pm, Mar 9 2012 Posts: 255	i don't know, this mangaka has a history of making weak female lead characters -_- and what's the deal with Sauske, he's just a complete d*ck now ... i mean his level of depth is on par with a bratty kid on a tantrum who won't listen to reason and like right he gets those shinny new eyes he wanted for xmas too! on a side note, i wonder if Itachi will slowly torture what's his face with that 3weeks illusion of getting stabbed with knives/butchered while conscious thing, if he can do it in a split seconds seems like it would be a pretty logical and easy thing to do before the cue for a big fight with Sauske begins

I find kind of odd, though. If Kabuto dies, then the corpses would just roam around forever without purpose? That sounds ridiculous, and doesn't make much sense. Still, it was pretty strange seeing Itachi flustered like that in the ending. Also, what's up with Madara? If he underestimates them so much, then why is he using Hashirama's powers, especially since he detested him? Is it just for fun? ________________

Member 2:15 am, Mar 10 2012 Posts: 242	personally, i'd like to believe that madara is just showing off. first he drops one meteor on them, then another. then he tries to summon kurama and pulls out a wood jutsu. then he use fire jutsu and summons a giant forest of plants with poisonous pollen. you've taken the 2nd strongest ninja, given him the sharingan that lets him control everything with sight (seeing/copying moves, signs, and seals), the rinnegan that lets him ruke the universe, and combined him with the cells of the strongest ninja. honestly, as much as i love them, the kages are so royally screwed. how is kishimoto going to end this and not have it be a cop-out or weak/lame ending like all of the bleach bad guys? i mean, madara's got as much if not more going for him as aizen or ginjo. these guys had all the power and got beat in a lame way. pray for success here. i am. ________________ Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' ✯ Sarcastic Member 1:30 am, Mar 13 2012 Posts: 597	Well, considering that Madara is already dead, & he is a relatively recent character, it shouldn't be all that surprising if he got defeated by five of the strongest ninja combined, but they don't really stand a chance here, like Dan said. The caster needs to stop the jutsu, & that is where Itachi comes. He is the key to winning the battle. He just has to figure out a way to make Kabuto release the Edo Tensei. ________________
