watch it please. everybody is entitled to their own opinion but i think what kony is doing is horrific and i want to share this as as many people as i can. the point is to make him famous not to celebrate his actions but to raise awareness and have him stopped. as i said everybody has there own opinion, but if you care in the slightest at least share it however you can.

the kony spammers kinda remind me of the ron paul spammers, both annoy me to no end. Most people cant do anything about kony and the people who can already know who he is, and btw im not saying this not an important issue but kony has been inactive for a long time you want to TRY to solve a real problem try to solving the massacre thats happening in syria.

This has been going on for 20 years, and it's not the first time it's been brought to light... we've had TVs, newspapers, radio for numerous years... facebook and youtube have existed for the last 8 and 7 years respectively... but now people are saying 'OMG! Stuff's happening over there and I don't like it... I'm gonna post a link about it and hope everyone agrees.'
Now, I'll be honest here, I despise what Kony has done as much as the next person, but really... I think we're being a bit too naive about all this. Sure, as the internet, we stopped (if for just a little while) SOPA and PIPA... now you're dealing with a war criminal that probably doesn't give a crap about what people say about him on Twitter and Facebook and then multiply like crazy... and so very little is being done.
I understand while you people side with the Kony 2012 faction, but in all honesty, there's not a whole lot people can do... you're dealing with a foreign country first of all, secondly, your main weapon is a keyboard and sentence structure, his are automatic firearms and child soldiers... that in itself should make you notice the pointlessness of spreading the word. Again, I do not approve of Kony's beliefs and actions. I just think people should be more... informed and 'wise' about your decisions.

I think the video is still good for awareness, even if it may be biased or not perfectly informative. Some people are interested enough by the video to do their own research on the subject, and that's a plus.

When I said this to the spammers on facebook, the only responses I get is how heartless and cruel I am for not jumping up and screaming about how Kony should be stopped.
Within a few weeks, this is all gonna be forgotten.
I was wondering when Kony was gonna pop up in on MU.

Awareness is all good and well, but it looks like too much money went in to making the video that could've been spent on making a difference in the lives of the people that Kony destroyed. I found the links from this post helpful - be well informed before you start blindly pledging to an organisation that you don't understand!

As for this Kony bullshit, what's going to happen after December 31 comes and that guy isn't captured/killed? Putting a deadline is empowering, but it is also risky.

I suspect it is in us's interest not to help Mexico. Porfirio Díaz once said, "Poor Mexico, so far from God and so close to the United States." I think the us still like cheap labor from Mexico. Economic reasons not humanist reason is what always drove foreign policy. Slavery and colonialism existed because of economic view point. And up course, who benefit from not legalize marijuana, the pharmacy industry.

I just watch an episode of the Daily Show segment. John Stewart showed that many news channel did cover kony and no one really care. One thing that Kony2012 did great was spark a discussion. Interest at an all time high to discuss about the fallacy of kony2012, Africa condition, and white man's burden, etc. As controversial as kony2012 was there is something great came out of it.
