I looking for something with the same general theme as Skip Beat! What I mean by that, is that the female MC is betrayed by someone, preferably by a love interest, and then decides to get revenge on them by besting them in their own field. Just like how Kyoko became an actress to outshine Shou. Actual romance is not mandatory, be it with a man or a woman.

Preferred but Not Needed:
- MC falls in love with someone other than her initial rival
- MC falls in love with the craft, be it swordsmanship, acting or cooking. I'd like her to realize the value in what she's doing, instead of just using it to enact revenge.
- MC is actually good at whatever the craft is, and eventually does become better than her initial rival.
- Being completed is a huge bonus.

Well to be honest I didn't get too far into it because I got sidetracked but from what I remember I enjoyed it. I'd say give a few chapters a try but I can understand your hesitation with it being on hiatus and all.
