According to J-preview of mangastream HxH is going on a hiatus AGAIN next week and it seems legit, i really am baffled by how a series like HxH always gets hiatus just end it for crying out loud instead of a torturing hiatus, i love the series but the hiatus fad is really taking its toll.
Thoughts on this hiatus  ?

Yea i kinda agree.
Ending it somewhere there with a few chapters ending few holes and leaving everything to the reader instead of a bloody hiatus -.- He finally meets his father, then maybe a short time skip epilogue where he shows the whereabouts of certain characters and shit then end with Gon doing something might be a good ending, i just cant make another hiatus!

Honestly, this probably would have been a good time to end it, but I would have been extremely disappointed. HxH is a series with a ton of foreshadowing. All the little things that you wonder about eventually come up again as important, so I'd hate to have the series end without resolving them. Bleach, on the other hand, should have just ended when Ichigo lost his powers. That would have been a beautiful ending point.

I knew it was gonna be another hiatus, the art work were getting horrible.
I'm really sad thought, hunter x hunter, my favorite manga..another hiatus,
I just hope it's not gonna be too long; last time in last a year, so i hope this time wont be as long~~
did yoshihiro-sensei say anything about the time it will last ?

Well I think the art is still classically his style, and if it would end just like that without giving out much satisfying conclusion to all those open-ended mysteries, the series doesn't deserve to be in your 'best' list at all. The mysteries I'm talking about, such as the final encounter between Hisoka and Gon or the development of family matters of Zoldyck or the Phantom Group (sigh, this is probably the only group of interesting characters without ever any explanation of their background), are one of the few reasons why there are people who love this manga. Togashi should never be allowed to take any more hiatus; if I were his editor, I would have pushed him til death to just write even if only the story down so I can finally be satisfied from curiousity. Well, I hate it that it has to go hiatus after such a long, frustrating break, but God bless Togashi as much as he 'does' America, I believe it won't be long.

As disappointing as a hiatus is, I much prefer a good story over all else. Any sort of limited closure that could be accomplished would be meaningless.

im so saaad T--T but i LOVE HxH.... it was awesome with insane pace form the exam through tower, spider, island...  oh maaaan makes me wanna read it again

I hear a lot of i want more, whining n complaining, but i would like to wish the forever stressed and ill Yoshihiro Togashi to get better. I have been following this series since the first English copies where to be had, and i have to say it is truly a more in depth and wonderful shonen series than any since.

humm i also agree that it would have been a good ending spot but this new arc looks really interesting i want to see more after reading the latest chapers

14 years and this story isn't done yet. That right there...there's no excuse.There's been Authors that did that amount of work in half the time, with better Quailty of Art Work.
