Manga Poll
What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

We've ended our last poll, which has been running for quite some time. Here are the results:

Question: Which do you prefer?
Choices:
Anime - votes: 1088 (36.8%)
Manga - votes: 1647 (55.7%)
I Hate Both - votes: 221 (7.5%)
There were 2956 total votes.
The poll ended: February 8th 2005

Obviously Manga wins :) This was mainly a test of our poll system. The next poll should be a bit more interesting! Keep your eyes peeled as we'll be adding a new one soon.
