Anyone read any of his work?
Personally.....I think the guy is a little....crazy.
All his mangas are weird and disturbing.

I think I've read a little of 2-3 of his works. Definitely very weird but some people really like seinen.

Hah, the original reason i signed up at mangaupdates was so i could give one of his series a better rating.
I've read all i could find. I admit, there is a fair share of senseless sex. If you are looking for something not as wierd try Freesia. Thats pretty ok. There should be about 5 volumes scanned by now.
talking about crazy sick, i just read a one shot from the guy that does Blade of the immortal. Something with succubus in the title, was just translated by mangasketchbook.
It has some really really sick pics at the end. Shiver.
Anyway, i really like Jiro. He always places his stories in a pretty fucked up society, and his characters are the worst of all.
I actually read one one shot that has a happy ending. But i think that was the only one he ever did.
Anyway, go JIRO! Voted for him as one of my 5 favorite mangaka.

Did you read "Keep on Vibrating" and "Uncivilized planet" ? A pig and a harlot......
Well, Blade of the Immortal only contain some occasional disturbing scene. Like the part where this group of bad people who were torturing this woman. They hammerd iron nails into her fingers and did really bad stuff......

Read Keep on vibrating and Uncivilized planet. The last story from keep on vibrating is the one with the happy ending, i really like that one. Did you read Freesia?

I read most of Blade of Immortal. I read Keep on vibrating and uncivilized planet, but not Freesia...........Jiro is too extreme for my taste.
but come on....it's a pig.....also....there are indications that some of the character are crazy.....

As i said, Freesia is a lot more less violent and less sexed up than his other stuff. I read Freesia first, and the other stuff after that. I was pretty shocked by his non freesia stuff the first time i read it.

I truly like all the stuff that has been scanned, Uncivilized Planet, Freesia, Tropical Citron and Keep on Vibrating. His works make me laugh but in a warped twisted way. I can't wait until they [Tropical Citron and Freesia (ongoing)] are finished being edited.

As a matter of fact, i meat each wensday afternoon with my extram violence therapy group where we ***********************************************
I don't think i am atracted directly by violent sex and so on. For example, i really didn't like BAttle Royal. The charcters and the whole stories somehow grip me. Can't say exactly why.

well......I certainly for one do not want my bubble of fantasy to be burst. The world is a bad place. I live in my own fantasy world surrounded by De ja Vu and hallucinations. My life is hard enough with out any more of other people's misfortunes. Sure I'll help them, but I'll also have to help my self. Besides...if i face reality, my mind would break.
Is it me or does Uncivilized Planet seem like WWII Germany or one of the European countries?
thanks to Jiro here....i'll have nightmares tognight....Why does it have to be a pig. I wouldn't mind a horse....but a pig......

Just out of curiousity, what do you normally read?
Also Tropical Citron and Freesai volume 7 are translated already by zzled of Omanga.

Some of his stuff is just weird and disgusting for the sake of ... being weird and disgusting D:
But Freesia is pretty damn good. It's still fucked up, but the characters are very interesting.
I hope omanga manages to put zzled's translation of volume 7 to use soon =)
