I think that many misunderstood the colors scheme changes .....
Website design will change -> color schemes changes -> mascot came last : mascot colors change according to the new design color scheme.
So, we will not apply the mascot's colors to the website, but the website's colors to the mascot.
You will not see a yellow/brown website, and I don't think at all that the new color scheme is worst than the current one.

I think it is bad idea. I mean imgening this mascot as in a blue colors already kills a great deal of its charm.
I think the colors that it has suits the current layout pretty well.

Nobody said that it will be "imgening this mascot as in a blue colors".
And as said, layout will change.

I am rather relieved to see the stitched up mascot rather than the elven chick (typical). Also, will the global search be fixed by the time of the new site design?

Congrats!! The mascot is really great, I wish to see the site and t-shirts soon, it'll be just as great! Hope brazilians like me can buy it!
I was thinking (while looking the other mascots) that the first one goes well with the choosen, and that would be great to see all the choices that were actually finished & colored as part of the background characters for MAD J. MU. It was just an idea, though.
Well, I was really not able to display a vote on this one, but I'd definetly vote for MAD if I had the chance. =)

The global search was really taken out because it was using too much bandwidth, so I'm guessing that there isn't an easy resolution if it pretty much disabled.
