This poll was suggested by our member Perim. The poll itself has simple choices, yet is a little hard to explain. Basically, does manga/anime affect real world decisions that you make? Perhaps you act a certain way now just because you read Naruto (think of all the little kids running around like ninjas...) Or perhaps you listen to classical music more because of Nodame Cantabile. Or any number of possible influences...

You can discuss this poll on our forums here:

And if you got any interesting poll ideas, please submit them here:

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Multiple groups scanlating the same series?
Choices:
Good for different standards (speed, quality...) - votes: 2525 (21.5%)
Competition is always good - votes: 1077 (9.2%)
One group should be enough - votes: 865 (7.4%)
They should just combine their efforts - votes: 5077 (43.2%)
I don't care, just give me manga - votes: 2205 (18.8%)
There were 11749 total votes.
The poll ended: June 20th 2009

Scanlators, hopefully you see how the people voted. (I acknowledge that joint efforts do not always work out though)

I voted no without thinking and now I realize I should've voted 'Yes'. Because anything I read influences my writing/characters. xDDD

Joint projects don't work all the time because if one person bail then they have to get another editor/translator or whatever and it slows the scanlation process down.
& sometimes the whole scan group just goes MIA =/
I hope the people voted for that option knows how hard it is to work between different groups.
